To succeed, your desire for success must outweigh your fear of failure.

Dr. Dharmesh Jain is the Principal of Singhania Law College.
Dharmesh previously served as a senior professor in the law faculty at Mohanlal Sukhadia University for 30 years. He has also served as a jury member in the family court. He pursued journalism initially after graduation as an early-life career. He has many educational degrees to his name. He completed B.Com. and M.Com., BA, LLB, and LLM. Eventually, he also pursued a Ph.D. He kept studying for 12 years after his marriage in 1988.
During his childhood, Dharmesh was not a bright student in particular, and hence his teacher failed him for two years consecutively. Upon realizing that two years of his life were wasted, he worked hard and studied seriously and sincerely. Thereafter, throughout his student life, he remained a topper. Eventually, during his M.Com., he was awarded the gold medal, and he finally achieved his dream. He became the university topper, and he believes that with a bit of determination, even a child who is facing serious difficulty in studies can achieve great heights, as proven by his life story.
As a professor and educator, Dharmesh is proud to have supported and guided many students, teachers, and new professors in following their career paths. He takes pride in the fact that about 8,000 students became lawyers under him and about 200 judges have been taught by him, some of them being high court judges presently. In his humble opinion, education is the most important, even more so than experience.
Dharmesh shares that during the COVID-19 pandemic, he too was infected by the coronavirus. By God’s grace, he fought the virus despite his old age and achieved victory over it. This was one of the most excruciatingly painful experiences of his life, and he advises everyone to follow the precautions to prevent this pandemic. From a professional viewpoint, after getting discharged from the hospital, he began providing lectures online to his students. His passion as an educator is not limited to the classroom. He likes living in the present, and he has no past regrets in his life.
Dharmesh’s role model is his father, who was from a poor background and did not have access to good educational facilities himself, so he wanted his son to receive the best possible education instead. He is also inspired by his mother, as she was a benevolent and solicitous woman who selflessly served the household.
In his professional life, his Ph.D. guide was his role model, as he was a great mentor and provided guidance not just in his Ph.D. but in life as well. He feels blessed to have a supportive wife who has always encouraged him to pursue his career and struggled with him through the difficult phases of life.
In his opinion, everyone should be a leader. He thinks leadership must start at home. You must first command your family, and then only you can claim to be a leader in society.
Listening to poetry and reading poetry are his favorite pastimes. He organizes a private Kavi-Sammelan every year. He likes good clothes, good food, and cooking good food.
Dharmesh never hurts anyone and has never done so in his entire life.
