The owner of a restaurant, Dharam draws inspiration from his parents. He believes that praying gives him mental peace.

Dharam Singh is the owner of Param Preet Restro in Pushkar.

Dharam was born and brought up in Pushkar itself. Initially, he had a flour mill and then he started his own restaurant.

Recalling his childhood, Dharam says that, in his childhood, he was very naughty and didn’t focus on his studies. Because of his mischievous behaviour, he was not able to continue his education and studied until the third grade only. Afterwards, he used to help his father with his work.

Sharing his COVID experiences, Dharam says that he faced some problems at that time but managed them somehow. Slowly and gradually, he again started his restaurant with a fixed time slot.

Dharam’s role model is his father, as he struggled a lot in his life. He learned from his father not to give up and to keep moving ahead.

In his spare time, Dharam likes to go to the Gurudwara to pray for his family members.

धरम का जन्म और पालन-पोषण पुष्कर में ही हुआ था। शुरुआत में उनके पास एक आटा चक्की थी और फिर उन्होंने अपना खुद का रेस्टोरेंट शुरू किया।

अपने बचपन को याद करते हुए धरम कहते हैं कि बचपन में वे बहुत शरारती थे और पढ़ाई पर ध्यान नहीं देते थे। अपने शरारती व्यवहार के कारण वह अपनी शिक्षा जारी नहीं रख पाये और केवल तीसरी कक्षा तक ही पढ़े। बाद में, वह अपने पिता के काम में मदद करते थे।

अपने कोविड अनुभवों को साझा करते हुए, धरम कहते हैं कि उस समय उन्होंने कुछ समस्याओं का सामना किया लेकिन उन्हें किसी तरह प्रबंधित किया। धीरे-धीरे उन्होंने एक निश्चित समय स्लॉट के साथ फिर से अपना रेस्टोरेंट शुरू किया।
