Starting his career as a fashion photographer, Devansh tried  modeling too. And since then, he has been making huge strides as a fashion influencer and blogger.

Devansh Kamboj is a fashion content creator and has been creating digital content for the past four and a half years.

Devansh was born and raised in Delhi. He completed his schooling and college from Delhi itself.

Recollecting his childhood memories, Devansh says that he was quite an inquisitive kid and would always be curious to know about things. He says he remembers that he would slice and dice his toys to look at what was there inside them. However, he says that he got to explore his creative side when he was at college.

Sharing about his content creation journey thus far, Devansh says that he began by borrowing a camera from one of his friends. He captured a few pictures and also did a couple of wedding shoots and then made his own portfolio to start out as a fashion photographer. He shares that during one of the fashion shoots he was hired as a fashion photographer. However, when the model for the shoot could not turn up at the last moment, the brand he was shooting for proposed he came in front of the camera. He shot for the brand as a model and it went really well. Later, the brand approached him for a couple of more photo shoots, he says. And it inspired him to initially write his own blog and then start posting his fashion-related content on Instagram.

However, Devansh says that it gave him a real impetus to convert content creation into his profession, only when brands like Ajio, Amazon, Myntra, etc. approached him to collaborate with them for their shoots.

Talking about his mistakes, Devansh says that he has made a lot of mistakes as a content creator. He says, not realizing his true worth whilst signing deals with brands was a mistake that he made. Besides, making content for the brands whom he could never really resonate with, was also a mistake for him.

Devansh thinks that putting content on social media is a sensitive pursuit and content creators should solely be accountable for what they post on their social media handles. He advises content creators to be wary of what they upload on social media as anything that offends anyone can put them in trouble.

To budding content creators, Devansh advises them never to chase fame, as their one bad move can take it away in a moment’s time. Besides, he tells them that they don’t necessarily have to be good-looking to create content. They just need to capitalize on their skill set and show their uniqueness to stand out. Furthermore, he advises them to remain patient to become successful as content creators.

When asked about his role models, Devansh says that he looks up to his elder brother and father for inspiration. He says his brother and father both worked extremely hard to create their own identities and they are worthy of emulation for him.

His Success Mantra is that hard work always pays off, no matter what.

In his spare time, Devansh likes to listen to good music, eat good food and play with his pet dog to relieve his stress. Besides, he likes to take care of street animals in his free time.

Devansh advises people to live in the present and enjoy each moment of their life to the fullest.
