An artist, Dev, followed his passion for music to fulfil his dream of becoming a rockstar. He believes that one should choose their own path to success.

Dev Sharma is a music composer and DJ in Udaipur.

Dev was born and brought up in Udaipur. His stage name is DJ D. Deva. He shares that his music teacher, DJ Anuradha, inspired him a lot. In 2005, he did his first show at his school.

Talking about his journey, Dev says that he started his career in the music industry when he was in 10th grade. He was always passionate about music and started performing in school shows. Then he went to JNU in Jodhpur to complete his higher education and performed at many shows, like Navrang. Then he decided to become a rock star and pursue his career in the field of music.

Dev shares that he faced many struggles as he had to commute a lot to do the shows in Udaipur as he was studying in Jodhpur. He believes that it is important to face the hurdles in life and tries to overcome them on his own. It was also tough for him when he was a kid, and his father didn’t allow him to perform in shows.

Dev’s role model is his father, as he sacrificed a lot in his life and always supported and inspired him to do better.

Dev’s success mantra is his dedication and creativity. He also believes in being original and real.

Comparing both education and experience, Dev says that experience with education is compulsory. Both play an important role in life. He says education taught him the meaning of frequency, modulation, waves, and all the graphs that help him compose music, so he firmly believes that education is important in life along with experience.

Advising the youth, Dev says that whatever you are doing, it should be unique. It is also very important to work with full honesty.
