Following his passion for drawing and sketching, Desh left his settled job in the aviation industry and stepped into the animation field. Over the years, he has trained many students in animation and design at his skill center.

Desh Kumar Agrawal runs a franchise of TGC Animation and Multimedia, an animation and design training institute, in Jaipur.

Desh was born in Korba, a city in Chattisgarh but grew up in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. He completed his schooling at Jabalpur. He received his college education in Indore. Besides, he is a trained pilot from Bhopal and Indore Flying Clubs. Currently, he is settled in Jaipur.

When asked about his role models, Desh says, he considers Chanakya and Ratan Tata as his role models.

Talking about his career progression, Desh says that he had a settled career in the aviation industry but due to the downfall in the industry at that time, his intuition drove him to make a career in the animation field. Since he had always liked to draw and sketch since childhood itself, he decided to make a career in the animation industry.

Talking about challenges in his life, Desh says that when he decided to switch his career , he had to start anew from scratch and it was quite challenging for him. However, in hindsight, he says he is happy with his decision as what he does now keeps him psyched up at all times.

Reviewing his COVID experience, Desh says that running his skill center during that pandemic was a challenge for him as the offline mode of education had come to a halt at that time. He did not find it suitable to run his courses online and therefore it became very challenging for him to pay salaries to his staff and bear other operational expenses of the center. However, he acknowledges that his wife helped him a lot emotionally during the pandemic, and thus he could pass the pandemic times.

To younger generations, Desh advises them to get their fundamentals and basics right to have a solid career ahead. Besides, he advises them never to fear learning new things and choose their career on the basis of their interests.
