Deepika teaches students in classes seventh and eighth. In addition to that, she takes chemistry for classes ninth and tenth. She has two years of teaching experience at Shishu Bharti Senior Secondary School. Before working here, she worked for three years at Digamber Public School. She has a total of five years of experience in the field of education.

Deepika was born in Udaipur. She completed her schooling at Guru Nanak School. Kirti Soni used to be one of her favorite teachers, and she happens to be in contact with her to this day. She was a mentor, guide, and guardian figure to Deepika during her childhood days in school. It was the inspiration she gained under her guidance that led her to consider teaching as a career. She became interested in the field of education and decided to take tuition during her college days. Eventually, she completed her B.Ed. degree and started teaching as a full-time science and chemistry teacher in schools.

According to Deepika, for those who are interested in joining the education sector, it is mandatory for them to have sound knowledge of their subject. Only through subject knowledge can you hope to impart quality education to your students in higher classes, and they will start following your example. You must be strict or lenient, depending on the situation. Furthermore, you should be able to make students follow discipline and decorum in school. According to her, the present generation has a different attitude toward life, and a teacher is expected to adapt according to their changing psychology.

During the COVID situation, there was a new model of teaching, namely online education. She felt that the online classes failed to maintain discipline among students. Teachers and parents cooperated to resolve communication issues during online classes. However, according to Deepika, it gave students an excuse not to participate effectively in online classes or make an honest attempt to study. Personally, for her, it was not a good experience since she lost some of her close ones to the disease.

According to Deepika, experience is the best way to learn. One can get all the technical education in a college degree, but if one has not directly worked as a teacher in the education field, they can never understand or face the challenges and learn from them.

Deepika believes a leader must be benevolent and have good team management, which is very important. She is friendly and familiar with other teachers, staff, and her students. She tries to solve the problems of her students personally. Her students are her foremost priority because teaching them, she believes, would lead to the creation of new leaders.

Reading books and singing are Deepika’s favorite hobbies.

Deepika’s personal role models are her father and sister, and her professional role models are her teacher, Kirti Soni, and other teachers in school.

If given a chance to go back in time, Deepika would like to revisit her childhood and spend more time with her parents.
