Deepak soni manages his family business of jewelry and his own new contracting business.

Deepak Soni is from Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh. However, he is currently residing in Baran district of Rajasthan. He did his schooling from Baran, and pursued his graduation from the Kota University.

Deepak had to leave his graduation midway and take charge of his family business due to his father’s ill health. Initially he was aspiring to have a career in the civil services, but he never got the time to resume his studies and thus he regards education to be a necessary part of life. However, he didn’t face much problem in managing his father’s business, as his father had started mentoring him for the same since he was in fourth class of school.

With time, Deepak also started a sand contracting business, in which he collects the sand of Banas river from Sheopur district and delivers it to Baran. He works very hard to manage both of his businesses together. He leaves for Sheopur early morning to get the trucks filled and then reaches Baran, sometimes he has to be awake all night due to traveling.

Along with managing two businesses simultaneously, he also takes part in regional politics. He even contested in the elections of his ward.

During the lockdown period, Deepak and his family had also suffered as the business was down, but he managed somehow by using his savings.

Deepak advises the youth to never give up and keep trying till the end to achieve their goals.
