Deepak Sharma is a budding actor. After a lot of struggle he has been finally able to carve out a place for himself in the acting world in Mumbai.

Deepak Sharma is an actor, singer, writer, dancer , anchor, mimicry artist and entertainer. He has acted in many TV shows and web series and done a large number of events as an anchor.

Hailing from Udaipur, Deepak caught the dancing and acting bug in 2006 when he was in school only. He performed in school events and joined a dance school. When his first dance teacher discouraged him, he switched his guru and decided to prove himself. Sometimes after, he got an opportunity in a short film.

Luck struck, and Deepak was selected by renowned actor-director Ashok Banthia for a play in Udaipur. But, his life was a great struggle. He did anchoring in events to earn some money and kept trying to bag acting roles. He went to auditions of every film or TV show being shot in Udaipur. Finally he got selected for a big show on Star Bharat.

Deepak, then, went to Mumbai to try his luck there. Those were real hard times. Sometimes he did not get any work for months. But his patience paid and he got selected for the long running TV series ‘ Crime Patrol’ on Sony TV. He also completed his B.Com. parallely. He acted in many short films and series.

There was a tough time in Deepak’s life when his father had a heart attack and underwent surgery. But he recovered and everything was well. In 2020 he did a web series and first time his name appeared on IMdB. Then, Corona struck and all work stopped. But, things are getting normal now and he has started getting roles in short films and ad films.

For youngsters aspiring to join the field of acting, he advises that it shall come from your inside. How much training you may undergo, but unless you have it in you, you cannot become an actor.

Deepak is of the opinion that both education and experience complement each other and both are important in life.

Even if he is taken back in time and given a chance to change things, he would love to become an actor only.

Deepak has memories of his childhood when his parents used to thrash him when they were irked by his stubbornness.

Talking about fun activities, Deepak says whenever he has free time he dances or watches movies or web series.

Renowned actors Irfan, Nawazuddin and Akshay Kumar are his idols.
