A dedicated artist, Debashish kept learning from his mistakes and never stopped believing in himself. He tried using every opportunity that came his way to achieve his goals.

Debashish Ghosh is a singer, actor and mimicry artist.

Debashish hails from Guwahati, Assam. He says he was born in Silchar. After completing his school, he graduated from the Arya Vidyapeeth College of Assam.

Talking about his childhood, Debashish says his maternal uncle used to take him to the cinema theaters and there he learned how films were actually projected on the screen. His mother was also fond of watching movies and they would go together and see the movies and that is how he developed interest in the entertainment industry.

Debashish feels his life is incomplete without entertainment. He says he had always looked up to his ideal Kishore Kumar. He says due to some circumstances he was not able to complete his studies and could not do business so he decided to try his hands in the field that he was passionate about. Thereafter, he started learning music and came to Mumbai.

Sharing about his challenges, Debashish remembers that his journey was not all smooth and nice and he had to struggle hard in the initial days. He says he kept using every opportunity that came his way even though he had to learn everything about it from scratch. He never hesitated to learn new things and kept moving forward.

Debashish says he originally wanted to become a playback singer and actor, but life had other plans for him and today he has become a mimicry artist and has performed many international shows in America, Dubai, Malaysia and Africa. He also advises upcoming artists that while mimicking one should maintain the originality and not overdo things which might not be respectful towards the actors.

Talking about his mistakes, Debashish says mistakes are bound to happen in life but he has always learned something from his mistakes. He believes one should have faith in the creator of the universe, he will lead us to the right path.

In his free time, Debashish likes to worship and visiting temples gives him mental peace. He says he is a health conscious person and likes to eat healthy. He also advises others to live a healthy lifestyle.
