Darshil’s passion for graphic designing led him to do a diploma course in the same discipline from Bengaluru and then he returned to his hometown-Udaipur and joined a startup in the city itself to hone his skills as a graphic designer.

Darshil Jain has been working as a lead graphic designer for GoodDot in Udaipur for the past year.

Darshil was born and brought up in Udaipur. He studied at St. Paul’s School in Udaipur itself. He did a BCA from MLSU. Then he did a Diploma in Graphic Design from the Asian Institute of Design, Bengaluru.

When asked about his role models, Darshil says that the CEO and CFO of GoodDot- Abhishek Sinha and Deepak Parihar respectively, are his role models.

Darshil shares that during his bachelors, he particularly got interested in learning software like Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. He worked as a freelance graphic designer after completing his bachelors. And then, to refine his skills in graphic design, he did a diploma in graphic design from Bangalore.

Reviewing his COVID experience, Darshil says that during the pandemic, he moved back to Udaipur and started working as a freelance graphic designer. Then he got an opportunity to work as a lead graphic designer for GoodDot in Udaipur itself and has been working there since then.

Darshil thinks that challenges in life are inevitable if one wants to do something great in life. He advises people to always have a positive mindset in life and be in association with the people who constantly push them to do better.

His Success Mantra is to be dedicated to his goals to achieve them.

Darshil acknowledges the efforts of his teachers in making him the person he is today.

To aspiring graphic designers, Darshil tells them that the graphic design industry is booming and in the future, there will be a high demand for graphic designers.

His favorite quote is “ The important thing in life is not to be strong but to feel strong.”
