A life abundance coach and an image consultant, Chitra is enabling people to clear their mind blocks and lead an abundant life in all aspects.

Along with working as a Senior Accounts Officer for the Defence Accounts Department, Chitra Iyengar is also a Life Abundance Coach and an Image Consultant.

Remembering her childhood, Chitra says she had a wonderful childhood. She was the family's middle kid and the one who received the most love and attention. Her father was a military officer, while her mother was a well-known musician. She was raised in complete independence and was given many opportunities to show her creativity. Her parents strongly encouraged her to learn anything she wanted, which helped her develop as a Bharatanatyam dancer. She is also a talented painter who specialises in pastels. However, she became more interested in self-improvement and self-examination as she grew.

Sharing her experience, Chitra states that she took her first megacourse with "Landmark Forum", a training and development company. She had a transformative experience during the course. She says that she got one of the best trainers in the nation and a world-class mentor. She eventually transitioned into a trainer herself and is currently an Arfeen Khan trained Coach with international certification. She has also created her own rigorous development programme, through which she mentors others in leading wealthy lives. She has written a novel and is working on another.

Describing her challenges, Chitra says that she was a rebellious child when she was younger. Sadly, she lost her father when she was sixteen. In order to care for her mother and other family obligations, she accepted the job offered to her on compassionate grounds in her father's place. She got married, but the union didn't last long. She applied for the position of an officer instead of continuing to work as a clerk and aced them. As her sister was a lifestyle coach in Bangalore,  she also began helping her sister by taking on coaching programmes as a trainer.

Speaking of her accomplishments, Chitra says that she hosted the Doordarshan television programme "Diva Express" on image management. She was also highlighted in a coffee table book published in memory of Coco Chanel.

If she could go back in time and change something in her life, Chitra says she would go back to her childhood, when she was insecure since she was overshadowed by her circumstances. Otherwise, she is happy the way she has led her life despite difficulties.

When asked if she was born a leader or had to work hard to become one, Chitra says that she thinks leadership is a matter of giving everything you have to the job in hand. Furthermore, she says that even as a young child, she had to deal with difficult circumstances in life, but she triumphed as a leader because she gave everything she had to it.

Chitra enjoys spending her free time with her friends from various social organisations. She enjoys cooking for therapeutic purposes as well. She likes to travel and explore new areas. She relishes every second of her life. As she has learned music, she occasionally performs as well.

Chitra advises people that self-love is an essential part of existence and that until you want to make a change in your life, no one can help you. She encourages individuals to be proud of themselves, be committed to their work, and be lifelong learners.
