Chirag Bapna is the founder of Sangeet Raj Group, Udaipur. Sangeet Raj Group provides financial, accounting, taxation, academic assistance, and content writing services.
Chirag was born and brought up in Udaipur. He completed his schooling at Central Academy Senior Secondary School, Sardarpura, Udaipur. Chirag informs that till 10th standard he was an average student because subjects like History, Science, Social Studies, etc. did not interest him. He failed to understand the practical application of these subjects and hence chose to pick subjects like Accountancy, Business Studies, and Entrepreneurship for his senior classes.
After completing his schooling, he tried his hand in C.A. and C.S. fields and enrolled in a coaching institute. He even cleared the preliminary stages in the first attempt but soon lost interest in the courses for the same reason of they being more theoretical and less practical. He completed his B.Com. and then enrolled in a post-graduate course for a Master of Finance and Control at MLSU.
During his first year of college itself, he got a job opportunity through campus placement but couldn’t join it as his family was going through their toughest time. After doing his masters with a gold medal, his father insisted he join his family business and not go out for any job. Chirag agreed and started helping his father in the various verticals he was already working in. He also got a research opportunity and worked as a research assistant for one year at MLSU. Simultaneously, he also pursued his second masters in Banking.
In 2017, Chirag thought of doing something of his own and started the Sangeet Raj Group.
Talking about his role models, Chirag says that first and foremost his grandfather is his role model. His grandfather always thought of helping society and working for people around us. He even donated his body to RNT Medical College for research purposes aiming to be useful to others even after his demise. His second role model is his father who taught Chirag everything about business and market functioning.
Chirag says that he was often jibed at by others that running a business is less hectic than doing a job as you are the master of your own will in a business. To prove his potential, he even did a job as an Administrative Manager for a builder and proved those voices wrong.
When asked about the importance of experience as compared to that of education, Chirag says that they are equally important in life. He feels that what is important is applying what we learn in our lives and not just learning and forgetting it.
When asked about his COVID experience, Chirag says that it was a really hard time for everyone. He shares that he became a father on 13th March 2020 and soon after the lockdown was imposed. He got to live like a parent and experience parenthood during the pandemic. Chirag also feels that the pandemic reinstated the fact that family is the only thing that should matter in life.
If given a Time Machine, Chirag would like to go back to the time when her sister’s child was born and would like to change his heart condition to let him be born healthy and fit.
Talking about leadership, Chirag says he feels that he is a born leader. He says that his father used to be out most of the time due to business and Chirag had to look after his grandmother, mother, and sister. He feels that this responsibility taught him much in life.
Chirag says that his success mantra in life is not to take too much pressure about anything and be confident.
In his free time, Chirag likes traveling and exploring the beauty of nature.
