Chetna Arya has been inspiring students for the past eight years. Despite initial struggles in teaching, she overcame challenges with guidance from her mentor. She emphasizes the importance of education, experience, and perseverance in life.

Chetna Arya has been working as a Computer Teacher at Rockwoods High School, Udaipur, for the past eight years.

With her dedication and hard work, she has made a significant impact on her students and has grown immensely in her role as an educator.

After completing her master’s degree, Chetna Arya moved to Jaipur and took up a job in a company. However, after some time, she realized that the job was not suitable for her. The experience taught her an important lesson about finding one’s true calling. She returned to Udaipur and soon learned about a vacancy at Rockwoods High School. Seeing this as an opportunity to grow and start something new, she grabbed the chance.

Chetna was born and brought up in Udaipur, where she spent a joyful childhood. She fondly remembers her time as a child, traveling with her family on small trips.

Those memories hold a special place in her heart as she vividly recalls visiting different places along with her parents and siblings. Traveling together as a family was something she cherished deeply, and those moments became the foundation of her happiest childhood memories.

When talking about her role models, Chetna speaks highly of her father. For her, he is the guiding force and the biggest inspiration in her life. She shares how her father always taught her to face every problem with bravery and strength. His guidance shaped her perspective and gave her the courage to tackle the challenges that came her way. Her father’s teachings became her life mantra and helped her overcome difficult times.

Reflecting on her struggles, Chetna admits that her journey into teaching was not smooth in the beginning. When she joined Rockwoods High School, she had no prior experience in teaching and felt completely unfamiliar with the field. The initial phase came with its share of issues and challenges. However, Chetna did not let the struggles defeat her.

She was fortunate to receive support and guidance from Geeta Nair, the principal of the school. Geeta Nair became a mentor to her, guiding her through the difficulties of the new role. Under her mentorship, Chetna learned the skills required to be a good teacher and slowly gained confidence. Today, she has grown into a perfect and skilled professional in her work, something she feels proud of.

When asked about her experience during the COVID-19 pandemic, Chetna Arya candidly shares that it was a challenging time for everyone. Shifting from physical classrooms to the online mode of teaching was something new for both teachers and students. Initially, she faced difficulties in adapting to the online platforms and ensuring her students stayed engaged. Soon, everything fell into place, and the experience turned out to be beneficial for both her and her students.

Computer Teacher Chetna Arya firmly believes that both education and experience are essential in life. According to her, while education provides knowledge, experience teaches real-life lessons that are invaluable. She shares that experiences in life allow people to witness and overcome challenges, turning even bad memories into opportunities for growth.

During tough and challenging times, Chetna often repeats her favorite line for strength and peace:“Tuhi Nirankar Mai Teri Sharan Ha Mainu Baksh Lo.”

This quote, which translates to "You are the Divine, I seek your refuge; please forgive me for any mistakes," reflects her faith and belief in divine guidance. It is a reminder for her to stay humble, seek forgiveness, and move forward in life with courage.

If given a time machine, Chetna would like to go back in time to remove all the problems and struggles she faced in her life. Though challenges have shaped her into the person she is today, she still wishes she could have avoided certain hardships.

For the younger generation, Arya offers simple yet valuable advice. She suggests that students should set clear goals in life and work hard to achieve them. According to her, having a goal gives direction and purpose to life, and only through hard work and determination can one achieve success.

In her free time, Chetna likes to pursue her hobbies, which bring her happiness and relaxation. Painting is something she truly enjoys, and it serves as her creative outlet.
