Through her persistent efforts, Chestha fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming a teacher. Born with a never give up attitude, she motivates her students to stay optimistic in life.

Chestha Sharma has been working as a computer lecturer at Vidya Bhawan Rural Institute since 2008.

Recalling her childhood, Chestha shares that she always dreamt of becoming a teacher and fulfilled her dream upon growing up. Cheshta did her post graduation, following which she cleared UGC NET in 2007.

Sharing her pandemic experience, Chestha shares that she was nearly completing her maternity leave when the lockdown happened. Thereafter, she took an unpaid session leave from her college to take care of her baby. On the family front, Chestha lost her father during the pandemic, as a result of which she had to shoulder all the responsibilities as the eldest daughter in the family.

When asked about her role models, Chestha says she draws inspiration from her mother, who never gave up, even in her toughest times.

Chestha thinks that both education and experience are equally important in the teaching field. She thinks education never comes to an end, especially in a teaching job. Chestha says that a lecturer has to continue studying, writing papers, and also do a PhD to grow further in the academic field.

Chestha is motivated and inspired by the book "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind," which has always helped her to deal with challenging moments in her life.

Chestha advises all students to stay calm and never take any drastic steps in life. She urges them to never give up and always have a positive attitude towards life.

When free, Chestha likes to dance to keep herself physically fit. Her hobbies include cooking and listening to music.
