Hence, when she cleared the entrance examination for admission to Navodaya Vidyala Samiti, Jaipur, in her fifth standard, she was in a dilemma as to whether to join the same or not. Her father was also advised by many not to send her to a hostel. However, her father supported her and decided to get her educated at the highest level possible.
Chandraveer says that she lived one of the best times of her life at Navodaya. She is still connected to her friends, and if given the chance to go on a vacation, would definitely choose Navodaya to relive the same experience.
Chandraveer feels that many people in her community still do not support girls’ education, but her father supported her and went against everyone who spoke against her education. As a result, she claims that she became the first Electrical Engineer from her village and opened the gates for other girls to get good education. Now, his father is appreciated and credited for her strong belief in education and has become an inspiration for many. She adds that even after her marriage, she got the full support of her in-laws when it came to doing a job.

Advising the new aspirants to the education field, Chandraveer says that people do advise to leave everything to achieve your goals, but she feels that we should never leave our innocence in the process.
When it comes to choosing between experience and education, she feels that both are equally important in life.
If given a time machine, Chandraveer would like to go back in time and relive her days at the Navodaya Vidyalaya.
Chandraveer says that the quote that inspires her the most is ‘Akele hi chalna padta hai sapno ki rahon pe, yun hi nahi mil jati manzilein chorahon pe.’
