Chandrakesh had a flair for Drawing, Sketching and Painting since childhood. Growing up, he pursued his career in tattooing and today he has become a famous Tattoo Artist of Mumbai.

Chandrakesh Gupta is a Tattoo Artist at Chandu Art Tattoos Studio in Mumbai. He has been doing Tattooing for the past six years. Prior to that, he used to do Painting and Sketching for a long time.

Chandrakesh was born and brought up in Mumbai. He did his B.Com and M.Com from Vivek College of Commerce. He was fond of Sketching and Painting from his early school days. He says that he wanted to go to Sir JJ School of Arts in Mumbai. To pass his entrance exam, he thought of doing some more creative tasks and entered into the field of Tattooing. Just after a few months, he realized that Tattooing is a better option to pursue as a career. Hence, he learned about it and started doing it on a freelance basis. Progressing in this field, he opened his first studio in 2015. Gradually, his work began to expand and soon he opened his second studio in his locality.

Talking about struggles, Chandrakesh says that he struggled initially for making clients, gaining  their trust and getting them happy and satisfied with his work. He says that to open his first studio, he had to take the help of his parents which was quite difficult for him.

About his achievements, Chandrakesh says that becoming a Tattoo Artist and fulfilling his dream of opening his own studios, is the biggest achievement for him. In addition, he also does tattooing work for National Television daily soap shows. On a Marathi platform, he has tattooed big celebrities.

Chandrakesh advises young artists that becoming a tattoo artist is not an easy task, it requires you to have a good knowledge of designing techniques. He says that you should have a good sense of your work so that you can give the right advice to people about tattoos.
