Chandra Prakash Choubisa is currently a senior Sanskrit teacher at Abhinav Senior Secondary School.
Born in a village on the outskirts of Udaipur, his primary schooling was in the village itself. Thereafter, he studied at a Sanskrit college called Jay Guru Ramananda College and completed his master's in Sanskrit from this college itself. He is a Shiksha Shashtri and a Sanskrit Acharya.
From a very tender age, he was always very keen to study Sanskrit as a language. He used to recite Sanskrit shlokas and participate in many Sanskrit competitions. He has achieved a national award in Sanskrit Antakshari in his childhood. He was also interested in writing. They were a rural family. His father died when he was young. Since then, he has had to face a lot of struggles, both personally and financially. Her mother supported him to the best of her capabilities.
During COVID 19, Chandra Prakash found online classes a sort of deterrent in the way of education and teaching as he could not maintain discipline among students during online lectures. With the help of his school management, he overcame the hurdles and imparted teaching online.
For anyone who wants to be a teacher in Sanskrit, he or she needs to have good knowledge of the subject. He feels that comprehensive education should be provided with complete coordination between students. One should take this profession seriously because students learn from their teachers, and teachers in a way shape leaders for tomorrow.
Chandra Prakash takes great pride in his profession. However, in his free time, he likes studying and researching literature and history books. He is also writing a Sanskrit book now. His favorite sport is cricket.
In his opinion, education and experience are both necessary. As a teacher, he learned more from his past experience teaching Sanskrit. He believes that experience bridges the gap between what was not taught in a formal education course and real-world problems.
He regrets that some dreams of his life remained incomplete as he was married at an early age. If he could turn back time, he would like to work towards achieving his previous life goals. However, he is still determined to pursue his dreams of becoming a government official.
