Inspired by his father, who ran a boutique, Chandan decided to learn the nitty-gritty of designing from him and slowly found his way in the field. He runs his own boutique and also a fashion institute.

Chandan Mangrola is a Fashion Designer who runs a boutique of his own. He has been in this field for the last fifteen years.

Recalling his childhood memories, Chandan says he hails from Indore and spent his childhood in Kannauj, where he also completed his schooling. It was at the age of fourteen that Chandan started learning boutique work with his father, who used to run such a shop. It was after completing his 12th grade that Chandan decided to pursue fashion design.

Thereafter, Chandan worked with well-established designers to learn the nitty-gritty of this field. After gaining valuable experience, he decided to start his own boutique and continued to learn more about designing alongside. Chandan then started conducting his fashion shows, which boosted his confidence to start his own fashion institute.

Speaking of his achievements, Chandan shares that he won the award of ‘Budding Best Designer’ in his first fashion show. He feels proud to be providing opportunities to budding designers who wish to make their career in the fashion field.

When asked about his mistakes, Chandan says that there was a time when he took a break from the fashion industry and went into the construction line, which he considers one of his mistakes. Because of his decision, Chandan had to suffer losses and also went into depression. Thereafter, he was motivated by his father to get back to fashion.

Talking about his role models, Chandan says he draws inspiration from his father, who worked hard to fulfil his wishes. Now, as a father himself, Chandan wishes to walk in his father’s footsteps and fulfil all the needs of his son.

In his message to aspiring designers, Chandan says that it is easy to come into this field but difficult to work hard and earn your name in it. He advises the youth to stay away from bad habits and stay with the right people.

When free, Chandan likes to venture out with his family and friends.
