Chakravarti’s major driving force in all of his professions is his urge to contribute to the community, and especially to the youth. His father’s teachings and lifestyle also ignited a fire within him to serve the society.
His journey has been an easy one though. During the initial years of his teaching career, he was belittled by some people on choosing English as a teaching subject as it was not deemed a popular subject in those times. But eventually his passion prevailed and he saw a consistent growth in his teaching skills and in career.
Chakravarti thinks that life should be difficult as it creates opportunities for growth. He cites the example of space shuttles while saying that to rise higher in life you will have to shed the extra load from yourself. He further says that a joint effort for the development of society will create an accommodative and a lively place for us and our future generations.
Chakravarti thinks that COVID had a serious impact on our lives. He says that we lost many people and negativity was thriving over society. But in the midst of all this, one thing that kept all of us together and motivated was family as it proved to be a strength for many people. He personally lost many good acquaintances and was disheartened for a while but his passion for reading kept his positivity and mindfulness intact. He advises others also to keep reading if they want to venture into his field.
Chakravarti says that we have more potential than we know of. He advises everyone to do the work of our liking to harness that potential and remain joyful.
According to Chakravarti, leaders are hopeful and visionary. He says that good leaders are charismatic and believe in taking the whole team together while also being thoughtful about the future.
Chakravarti believes in remaining grateful with what we have. He recalls an incident when he was visiting a school of blind children and when they looked happy and content despite their disability, he thought of how we have everything and still complain.
On a final note, he advises everyone that we should never lose hope and believe in ourselves.
