Chakravarti aspired to become a Public Servant, but he could not. So he joined his chosen field of marketing.

Chakravarti Singh Chouhan is working as a Marketing Head at an IT company called Citta Solutions Pvt Ltd in Ahmedabad. He looks after the branding, marketing and managing activities of the company.

Chakravarti hails from Mount Abu, Rajasthan. Due to his father’s transferable job, he lived in different cities and studied in different schools of the state. He did his MBA in marketing from Jaipur. He says that at the behest of his parents, he also attempted many government exams for a year to get a secured future. But he couldn’t make it through and ended up taking a private job in the FMCG sector. As he progressed in his career, he took marketing jobs in IT companies.

Talking about his role models, Chakravarti says he takes inspiration from his father and his elder brother. Besides, he follows APJ Abdul Kalam and considers him as a source of inspiration.

Describing his struggles, Chakravarti says that like any other person, he also had ups and downs in his professional journey. But overcoming every challenge, he kept on moving ahead.

Regarding his achievements, Chakravarti says that he is good at maintaining public relations and so people come to him for his advice. This is what he considers his achievement.

Sharing his COVID experience, Chakravarti says that during COVID, after a long time, he got an opportunity to spend great time with his family. On the professional front, he worked from home.

According to Chakravarti, both education and experience are necessary because education gives you a basic idea of living your life. But on the other hand, experience helps us to use our bookish and theoretical knowledge.

When asked about leadership, Chakravarti says that he doesn’t consider himself a born leader. But he has developed the leadership qualities and skills in him with time and experience. He believes that a leader should always respect others and have a humble approach towards his team.

Apart from work, Chakravarti enjoys photography, and bike riding in his spare time.

He also has philately as a hobby.

Chakravarti advises everyone to welcome and adapt to the changes because with the changing times and increase in involvement of technology in our daily lives, if you are not compatible to change, you will be left far behind. Moreover, you should keep yourself updated with the market and technology to have a successful life.
