After that, Adarsh did his post-graduation in Hindi Literature from Rajasthan University. Meanwhile, he also cleared NET JRF and started aiming to become a professor. Adarsh says that he represented Rajasthan University in the Mono Acting competition in an international fest and won. He received an award from the then minister, Sunil Dutt. He also started his B.Ed. while he was in Jaipur and completed a Bachelor in Journalism as well.

Adarsh also got shortlisted for the M.Phil. program at JNU, New Delhi. However, he decided to drop that and appeared in the RPSC examination for Assistant Professor. He became an assistant professor at the young age of 22 in the same college he graduated from.

After that, Adarsh did his doctorate from Maharaja Ganga Singh Vishwavidyalaya, Bikaner.

Adarsh was given the responsibility of NCC-PO in his college and tried bringing new activities related to social service for NCC Cadets. Then he applied for a vacancy at NCC and got selected. He trained at the officer’s training academy and passed out as a lieutenant from there. Soon, he got promoted and became a captain.

Talking about his struggles, Adarsh says that his school in the village was around three kilometers away and he used to walk to it. Also, his initial education took place in the village colloquial language, and shifting to a Hindi and English-based environment in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya was tough. Adarsh says that as soon as he got selected as an assistant professor, his father passed away. He was in Chennai at that time for his M.Phil. interviews and had to return. He shares that the transition from being a student to a person who had to now look after the responsibilities of a family was tough.

Adarsh shares that his father was always into social service and would help poor children in getting a good education. Taking his dream forward, Adarsh, along with some of his companions, started ‘Ujaas’, an organization named after his father, late Shri Uma Ram Jani, to help children get quality education. They provide free coaching for competitive examinations and Adarsh says that till now 450 of their students have secured a job.

Talking about his role models, Adarsh says that he came across many inspirational people throughout his journey. However, his ultimate inspiration has been his father. Professionally, he is inspired by Captain Vikram Batra and draws motivation from his courage and dedication towards his nation.
