Hailing from Kota, Rajasthan, Sankhla says he had been working as a farmer since his early age. He lived the life of a farmer, which only consisted of toil and struggle.
Sankhla says he developed his interest in literature while studying in middle school. He used to read a lot of books and also did some writing.
He has written poems in Hindi as well as Hadoti, which is a Rajasthani language. He says he is more comfortable in Hadoti as he grew up speaking that language.
Sankhla says his teachers always inspired him to read more, which helped him in his writing.
Talking about his mistakes, Sankhla says he made mistakes and also believes in making mistakes in the future in order to learn from them. He believes that it is the most beautiful way of developing.
When asked about his role models, Sankhla says he takes inspiration from various Rajasthani writers, including Raghuraj Singh Hada, Dr. Shanti Bhardwaj, and Dr. Kanhaiya Lal Sharma. He also takes inspiration from Hindi writers such as Nand Chaturvedi and Shivram.
Sankhla says he is also interested in nature, plants, and animals. He likes to feed animals and plant trees in his free time. He also likes to contribute to society.
To relieve stress, Sankhla likes to perform activities of his interest, such as writing poetry.
