A salon owner and stylist, Brima, left his small village with the drive and spirit to launch his own salon. He believes that regular knowledge updates lead to success.

Brima Ram Sen is the owner of Creative Hair Salon in Udaipur. He hails from Seemalwada, a small village near Udaipur. He completed all his education in his hometown. After that, he came to Udaipur to start his professional journey. He worked at a famous salon for about ten years before starting one of his own.

Describing his childhood, Brima says that he spent his whole childhood in his village. He recalls that after coming from school, he used to go to the farm, where he used to help his parents. He took his education up to the 8th grade in his own village. After that, for his senior secondary education, he had to travel 10-12 kilometers away from his village. He says that his parents taught him to work in a salon when he got a little older.

Speaking of his professional journey, Brima claims that he was able to open his own salon today because of his passion and the support of his family. He claims that from the start, he had a burning desire to leave the village and launch his own business, which is why, after about ten years of employment, he had the guts to  launch his own salon.

Sharing his COVID experience, Brima says that the time of COVID turned out to be surrounded by apprehensions and a very difficult time for everyone. During that time, he helped the police and the UIT people to help the needy. He says that by God’s grace, everyone in his family was safe,  and he was able to devote himself to the duty of helping the needy.

When asked which is more important, education or experience, Brima says that education is more important. He says that in the current era, when technology is rapidly changing in every field, his field is also not immune from this. It will be crucial for the person to be educated in order to understand the changes brought about by the technology in the field.

In his free time, Brima trains his staff and keeps his knowledge current. He says that he enjoys regularly watching online videos to learn about new developments in his field.

Brima advises young people to advance their knowledge and use their time and phones wisely in order to succeed. He says that a correct timetable has to be followed for success in any field.
