Despite facing struggles, Brij stood calm and composed amidst challenges to follow his passion for acting and drama. He is a theatre actor today and has hosted many other shows.

Brij Bhushan Shukla is a theatre actor who has been working in the Indian film industry since 2012.

Hailing from Delhi, Brij has also worked as a senior producer with NDTV, producing the show "Gustakhi Maaf." He anchored the show "Chhupa Rustam 2" as well. Brij later resigned from his job and came to Mumbai.

Recalling his childhood, Brij says that he was interested in acting from an early age and performed for the first time on stage at the age of eight. He got recognised for his efforts, which made him happy. Brij recollects participating in a Sanskrit play competition and winning the best actor award. He later got admission to college on the basis of his acting talent.

Brij feels happy having received his parents' and his elder brother’s constant support to pursue his passion for acting. However, he unfortunately lost his elder brother in 2001 and has embarked solo on his journey since then.

Brij believes that in an age of Instagram followers and reels, you must work on your craft to be successful in the social media and entertainment industries. He feels that diverse cultures from India have reached different parts of the country because of the film industry.

Discussing his challenges, Brij says that when he was hosting a comedy show in Jaipur, his divorce case was going on in court. On that note, he says that the life of an actor in his "reel life" has to stay intact no matter what is going on in his "real life." Brij adds that while he was making the audience laugh on the one hand, his internal emotional turmoil continued to grow within him.

Brij advises aspiring actors to work on their craft and have good observational skills. He adds that they should focus on living a healthy lifestyle. Brij suggests everyone do what their heart says, which might compel them to step out of their comfort zone.
