Practising in the MMA field for the last five years, Biplab believes that nothing is impossible if you have faith in yourself.

Biplab Dey is a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter in Jharkhand.

Biplab hails from a small village in Jharkhand. He learned from his guru with the help of YouTube. He has competed in state and national level competitions.

Recalling his childhood, Biplab says that he lost his father at an early age and completed his education until the twelfth grade with much financial and other difficulties. He faced many struggles in his childhood as he had to fulfil all his responsibilities. He worked hard and learned many things through experience.

Talking about his journey, Biplab says that initially his father motivated him for sports and admitted him to karate classes. Slowly and gradually, his interest developed, and he started researching the videos on social media platforms regarding the training of boxing. He practised a lot and used to go seven kilometres away from his home to practise. He is still continuing with his practice and wants to go further in this profession.

Sharing his achievements, Biplab says that he has achieved everything in his life through hard work and dedication. He played nationals and won two times, and has also played at the district level.

Accepting his mistakes, Biplab says that he made the mistake of trusting people very quickly. After making mistakes, he also learned the value of time and hard work in life.

Biplab’s role model is his father, as he got inspiration for sports from him. He also admires Mike Tyson and Bruce Lee, as he follows them and watches their videos for practice.

In his spare time, Biplab likes to make friends and spend time with his friends and family members. Sometimes he also listens to music.

Biplab’s life mantra is to value time and to be disciplined in life. He believes that if life closes one door, it will always open another door for you.

Advising the aspirants to his field, Biplab says that it is important for the individual to make up his mind before entering this field. Proper training from a good institute is required to play nationally and internationally. Emotional and financial support are also needed in this field, as it is a very tough game.
