Bhupendra Tiwari is the Owner of Selfie Unisex Salon based in Treasure Island Mall, Indore. He established his salon eight years back and has been in the grooming industry since then.

Recalling his childhood memories, Bhupendra says that he belonged to a middle-class family. He says that he did his primary education staying with his family and later on shifted to a boarding school for his further studies. Since he was inclined towards management, he did his graduation with BA and then pursued MBA.

Talking about his journey, Bhupendra says that he did a job in the Telecom industry for about twelve years. However, he always had the zeal to do something of his own and started a unisex salon in 2014.

When asked how he got into the grooming field, Bhupendra says that he was always interested in doing his own business. He researched various industries and found  that grooming is an evergreen field, took his training, and then finally started his salon.

Regarding his mistakes, Bhupendra says that he had an aim to become an IAS officer but chose an easy path without even trying to achieve his goal. Nonetheless, he learned a lesson from his mistake which is not to give up on your goal without giving it a try.

Speaking about his role models, Bhupendra says that some of the teachers from his school have been his role models. He says that his teachers have taught him to overcome the fear of failure in order to succeed.

When free, Bhupendra loves to travel which helps him stay refreshed. Also, he loves playing cricket.

To the new aspirants to the grooming field, Bhupendra advises them to learn the basics of the grooming industry in order to achieve perfection. Customer satisfaction is the most important in the field, he says.
