He further says that you have to crush your ego as everyone is treated equally in this industry. Another important point that Bhupendra mentions is that there is a lot of glamour and foul-charms in this industry, so holding yourself back from getting spoiled is really crucial in order to make a good career for yourself in the long run.
Due to COVID, Bhupendra lost his job at the Leela Group of Hotels, so he decided to start his own hospitality venture and become an entrepreneur himself. To the people aspiring to come into the hospitality industry, Bhupendra says, it is a field full of opportunities. Here, you will meet all kinds of people and face all kinds of situations, and most importantly everyone is treated equally. He cites the example of the exemplary demonstration of courage and grit from the hotel staff in the Taj Hotel during the 2008 terror attacks to say that life in hospitality is a life of discipline and integrity. He further says that if you work hard and establish yourself in the initial years, the sky's the limit for you.

His parents and initial schooling also played a significant role in his personality development. He says that he gave importance to studies but was never limited to it, he participated in all extracurricular activities like singing and dancing.
Mrs. Alka Sharma, the founder and owner of CPS and Rockwoods School is his role model, so much so that he calls her ‘Maa’. His primary school teacher Mrs. Lakshmi Rathod is also his role model. In his family, he looks up to his mother and his two elder sisters for inspiration. Professionally, his role model is Mr. Praveen, the Area Director of Taj Hotel. Along with this, he considers his family to be his support system and his strength.
Bhupendra believes in leading as a big-brother and not as a boss. He says that if you remain friendly and helpful to your staff they will do the same. For team-building, he says, you should try to get to know the personal life of your staff and share yours too, this way you will be able to connect better with your team.
Apart from his work, Bhupendra likes to spend most of his time doing what he loves the most : ‘riyaaz’, he makes sure to do it everyday early in the morning.
