Bhoomika is working in the art field. After trying her hands in teaching and HRM, she was motivated by her mother to get into the field that she was really good at, i.e., art.

Bhoomika Sinha is an artist and takes care of the wedding section of Prashant Arts. Her profile is for creating caricatures and invitation cards. She says that after COVID, digital invitations are also becoming much more popular. Her association with Prashant Arts is ten years old.

Bhoomika was born and brought up in Allahabad. She has done an M. Ed. and has worked in the teaching industry for some time. She has also worked as an HR consultant.

However, her inner love for art prompted her to change the field completely, and now she is happy in the artistic endeavor she is into. Bhoomika says that her grandfather was a director of puppet shows and used to create puppets with water. She feels that the art in her comes from there and that it is in her blood. She has around twenty plus artists working under her and has catered to more than five thousand invitations.

Talking about her mistakes, Bhoomika says that earlier she used to present her caricatures as weird and funny, but with time she started incorporating factors like age and generation to make them more mature.

Sharing about her role models, Bhoomika says that her parents are her foremost role models in life. It was her mother who supported her and made her realize that she should go into the field of art. Her second role model is her husband, who kept her motivated throughout the journey and still gives her good suggestions in life.

Drawing a parallel between the teaching job and her present art field, Bhoomika says that in the teaching field she was spreading knowledge and smiles, and her students used to appreciate her work. Here, she is helping spread smiles to people who are starting their new journeys in life.

Bhoomika feels that women have a natural tendency to be more understanding and can spread emotions more effectively. Hence, she says, more women should come into this field and pursue art.

When asked how she maintains mental peace, Bhoomika says that she paints and also tries meditation to calm herself down.

Talking about her life mantra, Bhoomika says that it is “Progress and help others progress too.” She feels that we should always work for the collective progress of everyone.

In her free time, Bhoomika likes to cook. She feels that if she had not gotten into the field of teaching, she would have chosen the FMCG sector and done a course in the hospitality sector. She also had dreams of opening a restaurant and has won many awards for her cooking. Apart from this, she also likes listening to music.
