Her academic achievements are equally remarkable, as she holds the prestigious qualifications of a Chartered Accountant, an MBA with a Gold Medal, a PhD, and the distinguished title of Jyotish Bhushan.
In addition to her accomplished career as a CA, Bhavya Bhoot has ventured into the hospitality industry, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit. Alongside her husband, she owns and manages a resort, ‘Swarnagarh Nature Retreat and Spa’ combining her business acumen and passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Her journey reflects a unique blend of professionalism, academic excellence, and entrepreneurial ambition.
Bhavya Garg Bhoot has been a practicing Chartered Accountant since 2006, carving a remarkable path in her profession with unwavering dedication. Initially based in Amravati, Maharashtra, she practiced there for a decade and earned the reputation of being one of the city's most renowned Chartered Accountants. Reflecting on her journey, she proudly acknowledges that she built her entire practice from scratch, independently sourcing and managing her clients. This highlights her self-achieved success and unwavering determination during that phase of her career.
After establishing a thriving CA practice in Amravati, Bhavya Garg made the bold decision to relocate to Udaipur. Starting afresh, she once again built her practice from the ground up, reaching new heights in her profession with resilience and determination. Alongside her practice, she also ventured into freelance consulting, where she provided insightful guidance to clients. Her freelance work involved offering tailored tips to improve clients' internal processes, helping businesses streamline their operations and achieve better results.
Since 2024, Bhavya Garg has been focusing her energy on managing her resort. She shares the heart-touching story behind its establishment. For nearly 15-20 years, she had been nurturing a dream of owning a small farmhouse, but circumstances kept delaying her plans. One day, her father encouraged her, saying, “You already have the land, so do whatever you want with it.” Inspired by his words, she immediately decided to begin the project. She personally took charge of the designing and conceptualized the entire layout, providing detailed instructions to the civil engineer.
It was her father who suggested she expand her vision and transform the farmhouse into a commercial venture. Taking his advice, she ambitiously planned an 18-room resort. Bhavya proudly shares that the resort’s beauty and the positive energy it radiates leave a lasting impression on every guest. In an extraordinary achievement, she completed the construction of all 18 rooms, along with pools, in just eight months—a feat she attributes to her relentless dedication, spending day and night onsite to ensure its timely completion.
Despite having no prior experience in the hospitality industry, Bhavya Garg and her husband ventured into this new territory with unwavering determination. The initial days were filled with challenges—learning about marketing, staffing, and sales from scratch—but their shared passion and commitment to excellence helped them navigate through these hurdles.
This project holds a deeply personal significance for Bhavya Garg, as she named the resort in memory of her late mother, who passed away from cancer in 2015. Called ‘Swarnagarh Nature Retreat and Spa,’ the resort is located in Sukher, adjacent to Jheel Water Park. It is a stunning property spread across five acres, offering a serene and luxurious experience. Designed to cater to a niche clientele, the retreat is dedicated to providing exceptional service, making it a haven for those seeking peace and rejuvenation.
The resort boasts six exquisite suites, each featuring a private infinity pool. These pools are not merely plunge pools but are equipped with advanced filtration systems and span an impressive 300 square feet each. Each suite’s pool is uniquely designed to appear as though it is suspended in mid-air, offering guests a breathtaking experience. From these elevated pools, visitors can enjoy stunning views of Fateh Sagar Lake, surrounded by majestic hills.
The natural setting adds to the allure of the resort, with frequent sightings of peacocks and even the occasional glimpse of a leopard, which guests find truly enchanting and thrilling. The resort also offers traditional folk dance performances, horse riding, and camel riding, further enriching the cultural and recreational experience.
One of the standout features of Swarnagarh Nature Retreat and Spa is its cuisine, which Bhavya Garg proudly describes as a key USP. The resort specializes in customized meals tailored to suit individual taste preferences, ensuring that guests savor not just the flavors but also the warm, personalized service. The overall ambience and unique offerings leave visitors with cherished memories of their stay at this serene retreat.
Talking about what inspired her to enter the field of Chartered Accountancy, Bhavya Bhoot reveals that it was her life circumstances that led her to choose this path. A bright student from the beginning, she shares that nearly 70% of her family members are doctors. Therefore, naturally, her mother also envisioned her becoming a doctor.
In alignment with this dream, Bhavya pursued both Biology and Mathematics in her 12th grade and prepared rigorously for both PMT (Pre-Medical Test) and PET (Pre-Engineering Test). However, she could not succeed in either exam, which left her feeling demotivated. At that time, a new stream, BBM (Bachelor of Business Management), had been introduced in BN College, and her mother encouraged her to join the program.
Bhavya Bhoot recalls that her mother was exceptionally strict when it came to academics. A BSc gold medalist of her time, her mother’s words carried immense weight in her family and were treated as final decisions. Reflecting on those moments, Bhavya acknowledges how her mother’s guidance played a significant role in shaping her academic and professional journey.
When Bhavya Bhoot joined BN College, she actively participated in a wide range of extracurricular activities, excelling in each one. She won prizes in debating, singing, and one-act plays, eventually accumulating an impressive collection of 25-30 certificates. At BN College, there was a tradition of selecting the "Best Student of the Year" based on the number of certificates and achievements of the students. Students who excel at inter-school, inter-college, or national-level events receive additional points, further enhancing their chances.
She recalls that despite being among the top contenders and earning the highest points, she was ranked fourth due to being unable to answer a specific question during the final evaluation. Nonetheless, she remained among the top five rank holders in her BBM program, showcasing her academic and overall brilliance.
After completing BBM, Bhavya decided to pursue Chartered Accountancy, inspired in part by her father, who is also a Chartered Accountant. At the time, CA was considered one of the most prestigious fields. She simultaneously enrolled in an MBA program as well. After she successfully completed both CA and MBA, Bhavya’s mother expressed her heartfelt wish for her to earn the title of "Doctor" in her name. Driven by her mother's aspirations, Bhavya went on to complete a PhD, fulfilling yet another milestone in her academic journey.
Bhavya Bhoot shares an interesting story about her MBA journey. While she was an accomplished debater and extempore speaker, pursuing an MBA was not originally part of her plans, as she was already deeply engrossed in her CA studies. However, her mother encouraged her to take the RMAT, the MBA entrance exam, and after passing that, Bhavya secured admission to Pacific Institute of Management.
Initially, she did not attend college for the first 3-4 months, which led to calls from the institution urging her to appear for exams. Despite low attendance and receiving minimal internal marks, Bhavya excelled in her external exams, showcasing her academic brilliance. By her second year, the gap between her and the second ranker was an astounding 100 marks. She graduated as an Gold Medalist MBA, an achievement made even more special as she received the medal from Pratibha Patil, the then President of India.
Upon completing her MBA, the then Director of Pacific University, Kailash Sodhani, encouraged her to pursue a PhD under his guidance. Her research focused on the topic "Liberalisation and its Impact on Sick Industries." Bhavya fondly remembers her guide as a cooperative and supportive mentor who played a significant role in helping her complete her PhD on time.
Bhavya’s journey in Chartered Accountancy is equally inspiring. She completed her CA after marriage, supported and motivated by her husband. Her mother-in-law also played a crucial role by being incredibly cooperative, enabling Bhavya to successfully balance her professional and personal responsibilities.
The year 2015 was a challenging and heart-wrenching time for Bhavya Bhoot. Her mother, who had always been her strongest pillar of support and guidance, was diagnosed with cancer and tragically passed away that same year. This devastating loss left Bhavya emotionally shattered. To care for her grieving father, she relocated from Amravati to Udaipur. Her husband, demonstrating immense love and support, left behind his entire business and family in Amravati to accompany her and to assist her father.
For nearly a year, Bhavya felt completely lost, emotionally and mentally paralyzed by the absence of her mother’s guiding presence. She struggled to find direction or purpose during this difficult phase.
One day, however, a message from a friend changed everything. The friend informed her about the Mrs. India contest and encouraged her to apply. Hesitant but hopeful, Bhavya decided to give it a try. She cleared the auditions, progressed to the next stages, and eventually competed in the finals held in Mumbai, where she earned the prestigious title of First Runner-Up. In addition to this achievement, she was also honored with two special titles: Miss Beautiful Smile and Miss Intelligent.
Reflecting on the experience, Bhavya Garg describes it as a transformative journey. The contest introduced her to the world of grooming, stage presence, self-care, and confidence. She learned invaluable skills, from makeup techniques to effective communication and stage etiquette, all while interacting with diverse and inspiring individuals. This remarkable journey not only gave her a sense of accomplishment but also helped her rediscover herself after a dark period in her life.
Working alongside artists from various states, including some TV actresses, and competing with them was, in itself, a significant achievement for Bhavya Bhoot. However, participating in a beauty contest was an entirely new and unique experience for her. Bhavya describes it as transformative and enriching, emphasizing that every woman should experience such an opportunity at least once in her life. She believes it not only helps in self-grooming but also in understanding one’s self-worth. This journey allowed her to discover new dimensions of herself while building confidence and grace in a supportive and competitive environment.
When asked, Bhavya shares that she has achieved many other milestones in life. She was a state-level badminton and basketball player, a skilled debater, and an accomplished extempore speaker. She was awarded prizes for three consecutive years at competitions held at the Mavalankar Hall in Delhi by notable personalities like ML Khurana and Pramod Mahajan.
Regarding her hobbies, Bhavya Bhoot is a true art enthusiast, having nurtured a deep love for creativity and expression since childhood. She is a trained classical dancer, specializing in Kathak, and has also performed numerous semi-classical dances on stage, winning several accolades for her captivating performances.
Her artistic talents extend beyond dance to painting, where she has explored various forms, from canvas paintings to fabric art and other styles, showcasing her versatility and passion for visual arts. Bhavya also has a flair for cooking, mastering a wide array of cuisines and earning several prizes for her culinary skills.
In addition to this, she excels in embroidery and knitting, creating intricate designs that reflect her patience and creativity. Bhavya has also been actively involved in theater, performing in multiple plays, and enjoys singing, a skill she has pursued with some formal training. Her multifaceted talents and love for the arts have been a constant source of joy and accomplishment in her life.
During her BBM studies, Bhavya Bhoot’s mother suggested she pursue an Astrology course. Although initially uninterested, Bhavya discovered she had a natural inclination for the field. Since childhood, she often experienced intuitions, and many things she thought or said would come true. This led her to delve deeper into astrology, and as she began studying it, she uncovered a vast world of knowledge. Her mentor, Niranjan Bhatt, played a pivotal role in her journey, teaching her practical aspects of Astrology, Palmistry, and Vaastu with exceptional depth and clarity.
Bhavya Bhoot gradually began implementing the remedies she learned from her mentor, Niranjan Bhatt, and saw excellent results. Following her guruji's advice, she never charged anyone for analyzing their horoscopes, as he believed that astrology loses its efficacy when practiced for monetary gain.
Initially, she set up a board outside her office and started reading horoscopes for people. However, over time, she noticed a recurring pattern among her visitors—most people came only to hear favorable predictions, ignoring practical advice or solutions. Additionally, some individuals asked odd or irrelevant questions, making her feel that her knowledge and skills were being undervalued and misused.
Realizing that this was not the best way to utilize her expertise, Bhavya eventually decided to stop reading horoscopes publicly. While she no longer practices actively, her passion for astrology remains, and she continues to value the profound knowledge imparted by her mentor.
While Bhavya doesn’t practice astrology professionally any more, her predictions given on special requests have often been remarkably accurate, achieving a success rate of around 99%. She recalls some profound examples:
Bhavya values astrology as a means of guidance and insight, emphasizing accuracy and sincerity in her practice. Her intuitive abilities, combined with the profound knowledge imparted by her mentor, make her astrological journey both impactful and meaningful.
Talking about her role models, Bhavya Bhoot says she considers her father as her ultimate role model. She believes that a father is the backbone of a family, who faces countless challenges to ensure the well-being and growth of his children. Her father, an All India Rank holder Chartered Accountant, is a self-made man who built his career from the ground up, creating a remarkable legacy through sheer determination and hard work.
Her father always shared a profound piece of wisdom with her: "There is always a vacuum at the top", meaning that no record is insurmountable and every milestone can be surpassed. He encouraged her to focus on the possibilities and aim for the top, emphasizing that with persistence and effort, success is inevitable.
This philosophy has become the guiding principle of Bhavya’s life, reinforcing her belief that “Nothing is impossible because the word itself says, ‘I’m possible.’” It is this lesson from her father that has consistently motivated her to overcome challenges and strive for excellence in every endeavor.
She draws immense inspiration from the line:
"ख़ुदी को कर बुलंद इतना कि हर तक़दीर से पहले, ख़ुदा बंदे से ख़ुद पूछे बता तेरी रज़ा क्या है।"
This profound verse motivates her to elevate her self-worth and capabilities to such heights that even destiny seeks her consent.
She strongly believes in the value of being self-made, asserting that only those who build themselves can achieve true greatness. Another line close to her heart is:
"गिरते हैं शहसवार ही मैदान-ए-जंग में, वो तिफ़्ल क्या गिरे जो घुटनों के बल चले।"
This encapsulates her philosophy that to achieve something meaningful, one must be ready to face failures and endure hardships. She emphasizes that falling and getting hurt are integral parts of the journey to success, as they teach resilience and prepare one for ultimate victory.
For Bhavya Bhoot, these lines are not just words but guiding principles that encourage her to persevere through challenges and aim for the extraordinary.
Talking about her hardships, Bhavya Garg shares that life is never easy for anyone, and challenges are a universal part of the journey. Overcoming these challenges and emerging victorious is what true success means to her. She reflects on her own life, saying that nothing came easily to her and that she had to fight for everything she achieved.
She recalls her academic journey, which was filled with hurdles. After struggling with science in 11th and 12th grades, she shifted to BBM, followed by pursuing an MBA and CA simultaneously. She acknowledges that this phase was particularly demanding and required immense hard work and dedication, often studying for 13–14 hours a day.
Bhavya Garg credits her mother as her strongest pillar of support during that challenging time. Her mother, being highly educated herself, played a crucial role in Bhavya's success. While Bhavya juggled MBA and CA studies, her mother would borrow books from the library, create detailed written notes for her, and help her focus on the essentials. Bhavya would then study and memorize those notes, which significantly eased her workload and allowed her to manage her studies efficiently.
This unwavering support from her mother and her own determination and discipline were the driving forces behind her accomplishments, and they continue to inspire her to overcome life's challenges with resilience and hard work.
Bhavya Garg also recalls her time after her marriage, a phase requiring resilience and determination. When she got married, her in-laws had an established family business. Her father-in-law suggested that she join the business since she had completed her CA, but Bhavya declined because she wanted to build her own practice.
In the beginning, it was not easy. For two years, she didn't have a single client. She would go to her office daily at 10 a.m. and stay there until 6 p.m., waiting for work to come her way. Despite this, she remained steadfast in her belief and commitment to her goals. Gradually, clients started approaching her, and they were impressed with the results she delivered. This marked the turning point in her career as her practice began to grow.
Eventually, she joined the family business, but her challenges didn’t end there. When her daughter was born, she resumed work just a month after delivery. Bhavya would take her infant daughter to the office, managing both her work and her child simultaneously. The same happened after her son was born. At that time, she was handling complex cases like appeals and raids. She recalls carrying her one-month-old son to the income tax office, sitting there for hours, and attending meetings with the Assistant Commissioner.
This phase was particularly tough, but Bhavya was determined not to let her career or her clients suffer. Her persistence paid off, and today, she successfully manages her office in Amravati remotely from Udaipur, where she continues to handle files and oversee operations online, supported by a capable team.
Bhavya Garg takes immense pride in being a dedicated member of Rotary Club of Udaipur Meera, a legacy she cherishes deeply. Her father too is a Rotarian, and her mother not only served as a Rotarian but also held prominent positions in Rotary, including Club President and Assistant Governor. Bhavya fondly recalls growing up with Rotary as an integral part of her life. Since childhood, she accompanied her parents to Rotary events, fostering a deep-seated belief in giving back to society through the activities of the Rotary Club.
After her marriage when she moved to Amravati, Bhavya Bhoot joined the local Rotary Club there, actively participating and serving in various roles for 7 to 8 years. She held positions such as Editor and Secretary, excelling in her contributions. Her dedication was evident as she took on the role of editor three times, showcasing her commitment and passion for Rotary's mission.
When Bhavya moved back to Udaipur, she continued her Rotary journey by joining Rotary Club Udaipur Meera, a club that allowed her to honor and continue her mother's legacy. Her consistent dedication and impactful work earned her significant responsibilities within the organization. She became the Club President, followed by becoming Assistant Governor and Zone Coordinator. Impressively, she has been appointed again as the Zone Coordinator for the 2025-26 term, a testament to her exemplary contributions and passion for service.
She firmly believes that achieving success comes with the responsibility of giving back to society. Her unwavering commitment to Rotary and her leadership roles highlight her dedication to making a positive impact and to inspiring others to do the same.
Bhavya Garg advises the youth to make consistent efforts and never give up on their dreams, no matter the circumstances. She emphasizes the importance of setting achievable goals but encourages aiming slightly higher to push one's limits.
She acknowledges that challenges are inevitable but firmly believes that with persistent efforts, success is within reach. Bhavya urges young individuals to stay resilient, stating, "Do not lose courage. If you dare to dream, you must also have the determination to fulfill them."
She beautifully articulates that dreams are the driving force that keep a person awake and motivated. According to Bhavya, it is this relentless pursuit of one's aspirations that paves the way to true achievement.
Lastly, Bhavya Garg shares her thoughts on the rising number of divorce cases in today's generation. She advises that marriage requires adjustments, patience, and the ability to adapt over time. She believes that with a little patience, empathy, and personal change, one can overcome any challenges in marriage. Bhavya emphasizes the importance of a joint family, as it offers more support compared to a nuclear family.
Bhavya Bhoot expresses immense gratitude for her husband's unwavering support through all the ups and downs in her life, and feels fortunate to have children who always stand by her.
Bhavya Garg Bhoot stresses the importance of raising children with good values and nurturing them properly to ensure long-term family unity. She is also thankful to her parents and in-laws for their constant guidance, support, and motivation.
Bhavya Garg Bhoot’s journey is a testament to her unwavering determination and her ability to balance personal and professional responsibilities, proving that with grit and perseverance, challenges can be overcome.
