An advocate, Bharti feels blessed to have a smooth life with the support of her family, husband, and God. She has been working in this field for the last ten years.

Bharti Singh is an advocate at the Jaipur High Court.

Bharti hails from Indore and is currently practising in Jaipur. She started her practice from the Tis Hazari Court in Delhi.

Recalling her childhood, Bharti says that she always lived a joyful life and enjoyed her childhood thoroughly. She was very naughty in her childhood. She completed B.Com. and LLB and also prepared for the competitive exam for IAS.

Talking about her journey, Bharti says that initially she wanted to become an IAS officer but an incident motivated her to become an advocate.  She fought her first divorce case in a family court. She chose this profession in order to help the needy. She says that throughout her journey, her husband has supported her a lot.

When asked about her mistakes, Bharti says that she didn’t make major mistakes in her life and never compromised on anything.

Describing her experiences, Bharti says that she completed her education in Indore and started her practice at the Tis Hazari Court in Delhi. She got respect there as an advocate, which increased her interest in this field. Afterwards, she went to Jaipur and continued her practice.

Sharing her achievements, Bharti says that she has taken  many important issues to the high court, sessions court, and the family court. She is always honest with her profession and is always ready to help people.

At the initial stage, Bharti was inspired by the life and spirit of Kiran Bedi and wanted to become like her. Afterwards, when she came into the profession of advocacy, she herself became her role model for helping other people. She follows her own principles in her life.

Bharti’s life mantra is to live life your way and always help the needy.

Advising aspirants to her field, Bharti says that there are two possibilities for entering the field of advocacy. After finishing the 12th grade, either you can do a five-year programme, or go for a three-year programme. After completing graduation, one can choose the three-year course of LLB and then fight the Bar Council exam to get an enrollment number. It is also important to practise under a senior advocate to gain experience and practical knowledge.
