Growing up, he watched his journalist father work passionately in the newspaper agency he owned, which inspired Bharat to follow in his footsteps despite an early criticism from his father of his first news piece.

Realizing the significant impact journalism could have, Bharat Sharma decided to pursue a career in the field, amassing over 30 years of experience working with various news channels. In 2012, he attempted to revive his father's news agency but had to close it down after two years due to a lack of resources.

Bharat Sharma values both education and experience, acknowledging that while education is crucial for entering any career today, experience, even without formal education, can also lead to success.

He draws inspiration from his father, who believed a journalist's pen should embody assertiveness and fairness. He is also inspired by the editor at his current news agency.

In his limited free time, Sharma enjoys being with his family, cherishing those moments.

Content with his career and life choices, he wouldn’t change anything about his past, even if given the chance to go back into the past in a time machine. He feels that journalism has not only given him recognition but also allowed him to contribute positively to society.

During the COVID pandemic, Bharat Sharma reported numerous heartbreaking stories from the ground, trying to help people by covering their stories accurately and volunteering to provide supplies. He believes that journalism gives people the opportunity to work for those in need and urges the youth to consider joining this field, noting that a Degree in Journalism combined with practical experience can yield great results.
