Bharat Sharma is working on the post of 3rd Grade Teacher on Level L-1 in the Education Department. He completed his education from Shardey Vidyapeeth Vidyalaya, Dholpur. He had taken Science-Maths in twelfth and then did B.Tech. in Mechanical branch from Alwar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Alwar. But with the changing times, he felt that there was less scope in engineering so he started preparing for competitive exams.
On his father’s advice Bharat filled the form of STC and in two years his STC was completed alongside preparations for competitive exams. At the time of vacancies in 2017, he was preparing for banking in Jaipur and he thought it was a good opportunity for him. But his father guided him to settle down first and have stability in life to develop confidence. Hence, he decided to set up permanently at home to avoid any despair.
Despite having good coaching institutes in Jaipur, Bharat chose to go home for having a positive and healthy environment. Coming home, he made a self-routine, balanced time table with proper planning under the guidance of a coaching institute, friends and family. Finally, he got selected in REET’s 2018 recruitment with just three months of preparation. He was allotted Dholpur district in his first attempt and joined Rajkiya Prathmik Vidyalaya in Dholpur. He is still studying further for RAS preparations.
Bharat has been working since two years in this school and apart from education, he also coordinated in many other activities conducted by the school like being a member of the School Management Committee, he would manage the money for development of the school. Apart from this, he also ran the mid-day meal programme in which they provide advanced-level food to children, ‘dugdh yojana’ of the government is also going on and under the ‘Annapurna’ scheme children were provided good food as per menu. On this pretext, the main motive of the government is that at least children should come to school and learn new things.
Bharat shares different strategies and techniques to be used to teach children so that they study well and move ahead. He speaks about certain events organised to imbibe religious and cultural values in students along with teaching of biographies of great personalities to enrich their thoughts. Also, the government has started a scheme for girls in which they are trained in self-protection skills. For this, a female teacher was first trained so that she could impart such training to the girls in order to defend themselves in any adverse situation.
Moreover, Bharat says that the entire staff is fully cooperative with each other and all the activities are fully operational. Also, the school has received five thousand rupees for sports as well. Apart from this, the school receives good financial support from hundreds of enrolled members for the development of the school.
Bharat considers his grandfather to be his role model because Bharat has been the fourth generation of his family and all of them were in the teaching line and worked as headmasters. So inspired by his grandfather and father, he continued the trend and became a teacher. Bharat also gets motivated by the family principles of being diligent, punctual and honest.
Bharat’s message to the young generation is to just keep working with determination and passion by keeping patience to succeed in life, sooner or later.
