It is very necessary to have a mentor in your life who will guide you to success.
Bharat was born in Bhilwara. He has several educational degrees. He is a BA.LLB. He has triple MA degrees to his name as well. Subsequently, he completed a diploma in Journalism and now has a decade of experience working in this profession.
Bharat started a career in journalism under the guidance of his mentor Manu Rao who is a well acclaimed name in the journalism fraternity of Udaipur. When he first started he knew nothing about the subject of journalism except his diploma studies. Determined to learn about the profession, he learned the various ways of reporting and built confidence by learning languages to develop fluency in them. He claims he is now one of the best TV news reporters of Udaipur News. He is very grateful to Manu Rao, his mentor, and Nana Lal Acharya who taught him to write articles in Hindi in a better way. He credits them for his success in this industry.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, though he had to venture out due to his profession, he took care to keep a distance from his family and children. He personally faced resistance from family members. Despite that, he still risked his life to cover the news because he felt that if he left the media coverage work to his juniors it would seem selfish and irresponsible on his part. He isolated himself and stayed away from his family to prevent the spread of the disease. By the grace of the Almighty, he says that no one in his family including himself was infected by the coronavirus.
For budding journalists, his advice would be to enhance their communications skills and work on the fluency of their language. One should be always on the lookout for interesting articles to cover and report. One should have a flair for writing and speaking if one is to succeed in journalism.
Some of his most prized achievements in his career so far in journalism are his interviews with the wife of the honorable prime minister of the country Narendra Modi and the cast of the famous show Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah. He believes he is quite renowned in the journalism circles in Udaipur all thanks to his hard work and mentors. More than 1500 reporters were trained by him on the job.
