Bhanwar Lal Paliwal retired from the post of Vice Principal at Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Branch, Udaipur.
Bhanwar Lal belongs to Udaipur. He did his BA from Shramjeevi College. Alongside, he worked as an LDC at a rural institute in Udaipur. Later, he left his job to pursue M.A. He then worked as a second-grade teacher at a private women’s school for a year. To advance in his career, he quit his job and did his B.Ed. Soon, he joined Kendriya Vidyalaya as a Trained Graduate Teacher. After a tenure of nine years, he was promoted to Post-Graduate Teacher, i.e., a Lecturer. Then in the next nine years, he became the Vice Principal of the school. After two-and-a-half years of becoming the VP, he retired from the school.
Talking about his role models, Bhanwar Lal says Swami Vivekananda and Mahatma Gandhi are his biggest role models for their modern, religious, and political leadership qualities. He also takes inspiration from Lord Rama and Lord Krishna as their biographies impress him. He draws inspiration from the Bhagavad Gita and Ramcharitmanas.
Sharing his COVID experience, Bhanwar Lal says that when the whole world was in turmoil, then he too lost one of his children, which was the saddest time for him.
Regarding his achievements, Bhanwar Lal says that he was a hardworking teacher but he never gave private tuition at home, which was his biggest achievement. Besides, he believes that despite being a private teacher, it was a big deal for him to provide good education to four of his children and take their careers to heights. Therein lies his achievement.
When asked about leadership, Bhanwar Lal says that he considers himself a born leader because he was the leader of the student union during his school and college days. He believes that he always had leadership qualities in him because even later, he never lagged behind in leadership.
Between education and experience, Bhanwar Lal opines that both education and experience are equally important because based on education, you move towards experience and once your experience is good, you achieve fame and fortune.
When free, Bhanwar Lal is fond of reading.
Advising the new-age teachers, Bhanwar Lal says that you should go to your classroom with full preparation, and constantly keep an eye on your students and their activities to point out their mistakes then and there in order to improve their academics.
Bhanwar Lal tells everyone that every living organism on earth is a part of God so we should love each other and take care of everything that we have been blessed with.
