Apart from being a veteran in the field of Automobiles, Basant Jain is also an ardent nature lover and social worker. With his honesty and disciplined hard work, he wants to bring a change in society.

Basant Jain lives in Udaipur with his family. He is currently the Vice President of the Automobile Dealers’ Association of Udaipur. Being in the field of automobiles for more than two decades, Basant knows the entire industry inside and out.

All his life, Basant has always tried to maneuver out ways to give something back to society. He has participated in a number of events to help the needy people and animals. He has always tried to protect the environment, the lakes and to maintain cleanliness in Udaipur and for that he has done numerous campaigns with his friends. Coming from an automotive background, he also wants everyone to help reduce the carbon footprint by getting their vehicles routinely checked for pollution and disposing off their batteries in the right way. He urges everyone to come forward and do their part in saving nature and its inhabitants.

Initially, Basant had to face a lot of struggle financially. He had nothing but a parental shop to start with. He started a repairing shop and started repairing radiators in 1991. For the next six years, he could not save much money because he had a big family and there were different needs. In 1997, he was offered a dealership from an established spare part manufacturer because the company had trust in him. After a couple of years, he got another dealership offer from Amaron and he took the opportunity and started assembling batteries. He even faced an accident where he got unconscious after mixing up liquids inside a battery and a radiator but he never gave up on his dreams. Slowly and gradually, Basant established himself as a trusted dealer in the market, who only sells genuine products and his business started to grow.

Basant’s love for nature has no end. He always devotes his free time to renewability and sustainability. He wants to focus on agricultural industries in his next venture and dreams about setting up his own plant. He believes that farmers should receive timely and fair payment and also wants to support contract farming.

If he could go back in time, Basant wants to give more opportunities to the farmers who he considers the backbone of our country. He also wants to amend some government policies so that people get equal opportunities to get employed and no one is idle.

On a concluding note, Basant says a person’s progress is in their own hands. If they analyze each of their days such that no day goes wasted and learn time management skills, they can easily succeed in life.
