Babita Devi is from Patna who runs a successful direct selling business. She believes anyone, including working professionals, young people, and housewives, can do this business. She's currently at the Gold level and aims to reach the Platinum level soon, earning lakhs of rupees in the process.
Sharing about her childhood, Babita recalls growing up in a village called Chiraila in Gaya district. She says that when she was in the 4th or 5th grade, her family faced financial difficulties, limiting her study time in school. To keep up with her studies, she sought help from her friends. After school, she would have her friends jot down the day's lessons on a muddy ground, allowing her to learn from their writings. When she returned to school, she amazed her teachers by confidently sharing what she had learned, leaving them pleasantly surprised by her active and clever approach to learning.
Babita says that she used to do stitching work at home initially, and then she started teaching other girls how to sew as well. Later, she worked at their family's medical shop before eventually getting into direct selling.
Sharing her struggles, Babita reveals that when she began her direct selling work, a thief broke into her house and stole her gold. However, this unfortunate incident motivated her to work even more harder and earn greater success through direct selling.
She looks up to her husband as her role model, while her younger son is a constant source of inspiration for her work.
Babita says that at first, she had doubts about her abilities, but her confidence grew when a senior colleague took her to a meeting where she learned that everyone faces such uncertainties.
For Babita, education and experience hold equal importance.
She shares that her journey began with QSE, where her efforts were appreciated, leading her to climb the ranks from the Leader level to the Silver and the Gold level.
Babita says she is happy that she is supporting her sons' engineering education and fulfilling her wishes with the earnings from direct selling.
Her advice to young individuals is to embrace honesty in all endeavors, and to let go of ego. She believes that cultivating a helpful nature is essential for success in direct selling.
