Driven by a passion for teaching, Babar Ali has educated more than 7000 underprivileged students for free through his school. Babar Ali is the Founder and Head Master at Ananda Shiksha Niketan. He has been recognized by the BBC as the Youngest Headmaster in the World.

Recalling his childhood memories, Babar Ali says that coming from a poor family, it was difficult for him to get an education. However, he was fortunate enough to get an education somehow, he says. Babar further shares that at the age of nine, he started his mission of educating children. From an early age, he started creating a dreamland of education for underprivileged children.

Speaking about his life journey, Babar Ali says that he always loved to teach and he realized that education is important for all. That was when he started his school in his home’s backyard with the purpose of “Education for all with equal opportunity”. With the help of the local Ramakrishna Mission, he arranged the resources and started educating underprivileged children. Teaching is not a profession, it is a passion, he says.

Talking about his mistakes, Babar Ali says that mistakes and failures are part of life. However, due to his seriousness in his work, he was able to not commit mistakes in his life.

Babar Ali says that Realization and Implementation are the most important things in life. He says that he believes in being a good person and doing good for society.

To the aspirants to the teaching field, Babar Ali advises them not to choose to teach to earn money, but to create a social impact and to bring change. He says that being a teacher, one cannot expect success every time and failure should not demotivate you.

In his free time, Babar Ali loves to travel and explore nature.
