A Wrestler for the past fifteen years, Babalu Gurjar is preparing the next generation of wrestlers so that they can bring laurels to the country by winning medals in the Olympics.

Babalu Gurjar hails from Bhilwara and he is a Wrestler by profession and passion. He has been doing Wrestling for the past fifteen years. He is a national level Silver medalist in the same.

Babalu shares that his father and elder brother both were wrestlers and from them he got inspired to take to Wrestling.

Babalu thinks that had the government provided the same sports facilities back then as it’s providing now, he would have won a Silver medal for the country in the Olympics.

Sushil Kumar - a former Indian wrestler is Babalu’s biggest inspiration.

Talking about his achievements, Babalu says that he won the Gold medal in the 80 kg category in a state-level wrestling championship and then he played at the national level where he won the Silver medal.

Babalu thinks that to be a good sportsman one must lead a disciplined life and follow their routine religiously. Besides, he thinks that a sportsman has to miss out on a lot of family gatherings to achieve success.

पिछले पंद्रह वर्षों से पहलवान बबलू गुर्जर अगली पीढ़ी के पहलवानों को तैयार कर रहे हैं ताकि वे ओलंपिक में पदक जीतकर देश का नाम रोशन कर सकें।

बबलू गुर्जर भीलवाड़ा के रहने वाले हैं और वह पेशे और जुनून से पहलवान हैं। वह पिछले पंद्रह साल से कुश्ती कर रहे हैं। वह उसी में राष्ट्रीय स्तर के रजत पदक विजेता हैं।

बबलू ने साझा किया कि उनके पिता और बड़े भाई दोनों पहलवान थे और उन्हीं से उन्हें कुश्ती लेने की प्रेरणा मिली।

बबलू को लगता है कि अगर सरकार ने पहले जैसी खेल सुविधाएं मुहैया कराई होतीं, तो वह ओलंपिक में देश के लिए रजत पदक जीतते।

सुशील कुमार - एक पूर्व भारतीय पहलवान बबलू की सबसे बड़ी प्रेरणा है।

अपनी उपलब्धियों के बारे में बताते हुए बबलू कहते हैं कि उन्होंने राज्य स्तरीय कुश्ती चैंपियनशिप में 80 किलोग्राम वर्ग में स्वर्ण पदक जीता और फिर राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर खेले जहां उन्होंने रजत पदक जीता।
