Azad Khan is a Fitness Instructor and Owner at Your Fitness Studio. He has been helping people achieve their body goals as a Gym Trainer for 21 years now. He takes classes on Aerobics, Yoga, Power Yoga, Zumba, Pilates and all other types of fitness activities.
Azad obtained his education from different schools including Roshanlal School, Jawahar Jain School, Fateh School and Navbharat School. Thereafter, he completed his Bachelors in Physical Education from BN College. Azad shares that he had an inclination towards the gym since his childhood and started working out with his uncle since then. Inspired and influenced by body training activities, Azad made Gyming his full-time profession. He loves his profession, even more, when he sees his clients satisfied and happy with the results they get from his training sessions.
Talking about his childhood, Azad shares that he was quite unhealthy and his uncle introduced him to the nitty-gritty of staying fit and healthy. He considers his uncle as his role model since had he been not there, he wouldn’t have been where he is today. Azad runs his gym under the name ‘Your Fitness Studio’ which offers personal training, group activities and yoga classes. Azad’s weekly schedule includes HIIT, Aerobics, Zumba, Power Yoga and Weight Training.
Azad has worked as a Trainer in many gyms before he came up with his own venture. Now Azad along with his partner Sharad Sanadhya opened Your Fitness Studio in December 2019 having undergone financial issues and struggles. Azad had to face the Covid lockdown just after three months of commencement of his fitness studio in which he had invested all his savings. During the pandemic, he faced a heavy financial crunch even to run his house. However, luckily his landlord waived off half of his rent and he had a sigh of relief. Azad adds that he has witnessed a decline in the footfall of his clients since COVID happened.
Azad shares that he had been an introvert since the beginning and hesitated to talk to people. However, since he started taking Aerobics classes and training girls, he got over his hesitation and is now comfortable dealing with people. Azad says that he has inculcated leadership qualities in himself by conducting group activities that in turn built self-confidence in him. Adding to it, he says that making his clients happy with the results boosted his confidence even more.
Besides the gym, Azad likes to watch movies and have delicious food.
Azad thinks that along with Education, Experience equally plays a crucial role since it introduces one to the practicalities of life.
For aspiring trainers and gym enthusiasts, Azad says that one needs to be disciplined, possess an awareness towards health factors and have an overall knowledge of various ailments and exercises to train clients. He says that the youth ought to sacrifice their comforts and fun to excel in this field better.
Azad says that the Success Mantra behind any profession is hard work with honesty. He adds that one needs to be honest in their initiatives to gain the goodwill and trust of people. To wind up, Azad says that one’s behavior and attitude matters a lot in life, so everyone should choose their words wisely.
