A teacher who recognized a gap in the education system. Ayesha is trying to bring about a change in the education field by propagating a new method of teaching on her YouTube channel.

Ayesha Firdous is a teacher and a YouTuber. She has been in the education industry for 20 years.

Recalling her childhood, Ayesha says she was born and brought up in Hyderabad. Her parents got divorced when she was a child. However, they did not let it affect the kids. She always wanted to become a teacher. Her mother and aunt were teachers, and being in a family of teachers also influenced her to pursue a career in the education field. She did her schooling at Saint Anthony's School in Hyderabad.

Sharing about her journey, Ayesha says she started her career as a teacher. Later, she was promoted to head of the department, and afterwards, she became the headmistress. She also stepped into research and training. She started training teachers and also provided education consultancy to them. During the pandemic, she started her YouTube channel "Teachers World".

Ayesha says she had a beautiful journey as a teacher where she learned a lot from her students. Teaching students and teachers from different backgrounds and perspectives gave her a unique experience.

Speaking about her mistakes, Ayesha says mistakes can be avoided by setting a target and mistakes are the way to learn.

Sharing her accomplishments, Ayesha says she considers the love and support she got from the teachers and students as her accomplishment. People and students look up to her, which is a huge accomplishment for her.

When asked about her role models, Ayesha says her mother is her inspiration, and she has learned a lot from her. She also considers Dr. Saiyad Nizamuddin her role model, as she learned leadership, teamwork, and much more from him. In addition to that, she says there are many people who inspired her and taught her important life lessons.

To relieve her stress, Ayesha likes to offer namaz and reflect on herself.

Ayesha believes there is a need to bring about a change in the education system. As part of her research and training, she visits different states of India to observe students and the teaching patterns. She thinks that there should be more flexibility in the way the education system works, so that each student can get the education that best suits their individual needs. She says the lockdown has brought a major gap in the learning of the students.

Ayesha suggests that schools analyze their baseline and focus on improving their basics to get better results.
