Coming from the small city of Nathdwara, Atul Tripathi joined Engineering after his schooling. But, his heart was not in it and he accumulated 22 backs. He somehow convinced his father that he was not made for engineering and switched over to BBA from Pacific University. Currently he is pursuing MBA from a Pune based institute.
Atul co-founded the marketing and innovative company Inspiro along with his brother and other friends. As he had to move back to Udaipur due to the pandemic, he is giving his time to Inspiro.
Atul feels that it was a setback when he had to drop out of engineering as it was like shattering the dreams of his parents. But, eventually as he is doing good in the commerce line his father is happy now. Initially, he was an introvert and also suffered from stage fright in his college in Pune, but he determinedly started participating in all activities and is a star performer in his college today.
Atul is inspired in life by his elder brother who has taught him to pursue his goals with patience. He says he has learnt everything from his brother. He says that he was not a born leader but developed the qualities of a leader gradually.
For anyone aspiring to join Inspiro, he says that you must have a passion for hard work and innovation. There is no boss in Inspiro and everyone does his own work. He says that in Inspiro they support any innovative idea and pursue it.
Atul says that the skills required in the field of marketing are thorough knowledge of your product. You shall have leadership qualities and should know how to delegate work to your subordinates in a polite way. Atul thinks that experience matters more in life than education. He cites his own example and says that he is doing good in his MBA by indulging in all practical activities and is not studying much from the books.
In Atul’s words Inspiro’s success mantra is its team and innovation. He says that we have different types of people in their team but everyone is welcome to present their ideas and they invest in the idea.
Atul remembers how strict his father was when Atul was a child and in school. But due to his strictness he also learnt that it is always better to do anything after discussing it with your parents as they are the real assets of your life.
If he is taken back in time he would start a T-Shirt factory driven by an idea which came to his mind when he was in the 10th class.
In his free time, Atul likes to watch movies on the OTT platforms. He is also a fashion freak and watches fashion and lifestyle videos on youtube.
