Ashu Pandit is the Owner of Hotel Pushkar Lake Palace. Ashu hails from Pushkar and was born and brought up there.
Ashu says that he belongs to a family of priests which has been living in Pushkar since time immemorial. Further, he says that he has been a Marwari Horse Breeder for fifteen years and is working for the protection of horses.
Talking about his education, Ashu says that he did his schooling in Pushkar. Thereafter he graduated in Arts from Dayanand Saraswati College, Ajmer.
Speaking about his journey, Ashu says that after completing his graduation he had no idea of what to do. However, he always had an aim of not doing a job. Like any other teenager, he also thought of going into various fields, but somehow landed up with the thought of opening a hotel in 2006. Further, he adds that while he was at an animal fair with his tourists in Pushkar, he saw Marwari horses and started researching about breeding in Marwari horses and is into this since then with an aim to protect the breed.
Ashu says that people these days find satisfaction in materialistic things and think that success is having all the luxuries. To such people, Ashu advises them to lower their luxurious needs as these have temporary meaning in their lives.
Ashu believes that whatever you think comes as radiation. He says that very few people knew him in Pushkar before he started working as a Horse Breeder but since the time he started doing that many people know him by his name due. He feels very good that he has provided horses bred by him to the Ambanis, says he.
To the youngsters, Ashu Pandit says that along with social knowledge, gaining spiritual knowledge is also very important. Doing that will help you find the purpose of your life. He further says that gaining spiritual knowledge by reading books and mantras will help you keep your environment positive. He further quotes that a teacher can make a prime minister, but no government can make a teacher. Therefore he urges people to stay connected to their books and avoid using so many social media networks.
