A social worker who always wanted to do something for society, Ashok quit his job and started social service. He believes in karma and inspires people to make good decisions.

Ashok Kumar Sharma is the manager of Gautam Ashram in Pushkar.

Ashok says he was born in Mavli and completed his graduation from B.N. College, Udaipur. He was not much interested in doing a regular job, as he was into giving back to society and social work. With the support of people, he did many things for society. He also had a job at Axis Bank.

Later, he converted his land in Piproli into a cow shelter with the motive of helping animals. However, due to some issues, he had to discontinue the service. Afterwards, he worked at the Gurjar Board Community for four years, where he got good feedback. It led him to the post of manager at the Gautam Ashram.

Ashok says he is inspired by Prabhu Lal Shastri and Damodar Shastri, who are taking initiatives at Guru Kripa to educate people and provide them with free accommodation services.

Ashok says he always wanted to do something for society. He rejected many job offers in order to serve people.

When asked about his role models, Ashok says he has taken guidance from many people, such as Shaktawat sir at SBI, who guided him, and the director of Axis Bank, where he worked, who also taught him life lessons. He also looks up to his father, as he believes that his life and all the facilities he has are the results of his father’s deeds.

Ashok’s life mantra is "Always be honest with your work."

Advising the young generation, Ashok says a person can change his destiny by working hard.
