Ashfaq started his acting career at a very young age. Today, he has become the Director of a renowned theater society in Udaipur and has presented several street plays under his direction.

Ashfaq Noor Khan belongs to Udaipur. Presently he is the Theater Director at Natyansh Theater Society in Udaipur. He says they perform various activities, events, theater shows and street shows. His main work is to prepare the skits and poem writing.

Ashfaq was born in Kanod village and got his early education there. Owing to his father’s transferable job, they lived in different cities like Pratapgarh, Chittor and finally settled in Udaipur. He did B.Com and then Master in Social Work from Udaipur itself.

Ashfaq started his acting journey in 2008 just after completing his 12th with a street play and gradually he furthered his acting career by doing street play shows in Rajasthan, MP, Gujarat, Delhi and Punjab. Meanwhile, he met the founder of Natyansh Society and went on to work with him that led him to theater and today he is a Director there.

Ashfaq says that pursuing Theater as a career is a very difficult task because people don't cooperate much in this field and it’s hard to find sponsors for theater shows. Also, its expenses are a great hindrance as it costs a lot to direct just one show. He says they have to convince parents of newcomers to let them pursue Theater as it is a good option for their future. He says that they did several workshops in different schools so that children would get a chance to look upto acting as a career option.

Ashfaq says that in the coming five years Theater will be at boom as it has produced great artists of Bollywood and today also, the young generation is so talented they can take this industry a long way in the near future.

In his free time, Ashfaq likes to spend time with his family. He is fond of reading good drama and poetry books. He likes exploring and listening to music.
