Ashaar Ali has been serving as a Project Lead at Arcgate, a leading IT company in Udaipur, showcasing dedication and expertise in his role.
Ashaar is a multi-talented individual with skills in various creative fields, including anchoring, poetry, music, singing, entertainment, and scriptwriting.
Though coming from a technical background, Ashaar had never envisioned himself being part of an IT company. His true passion lay in music, and before joining Arcgate, he used to entertain those around him with his vocals. However, upon joining the company, he realised that his skills and qualities significantly improved over time.
As a team leader, Ashaar Ali's leadership approach is grounded in empathy and strategic optimization. He emphasises the importance of understanding and connecting with his team members while implementing effective strategies. He believes that leadership involves managing two teams: the physical team he works with and the strategic optimisation team within his mind. He strives to empower his team members and bring out their full potential without imposing unnecessary pressure. According to him, true leadership involves enabling others to fulfil tasks as if they were their own.
Ashaar believes that true dedication involves working tirelessly as if the crown that you want to be adorned on your head is already yours. Only by fully committing yourself and demonstrating selflessness can you truly embody the values of an exemplary employee. This mindset has guided him throughout his tenure at Arcgate, where he has witnessed the company's growth, worked with diverse individuals from various states, and seen technological advancements firsthand.
Ashaar obtained his B.Tech degree from Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. Recalling his first day at Arcgate, he fondly remembers the warm welcome he received from the team members, which immediately made him feel comfortable. Within a few days, he realised that he had chosen the right path for his career growth and believed that he could achieve great heights if he remained consistent with his work at the company.
When asked about his role models, Ashaar says he draws inspiration from everyone around him, considering every person as a potential source of motivation and positivity. He does not have a single role model but finds inspiration from his family, friends, and parents. He believes that inspiration can be found in every individual, and he encourages others to seek inspiration from everyone they encounter.
Talking about struggles, Ashaar says he finds motivation in his own quote, "Uthna hai toh gir jao, sangharshon se ghir jao,” which means, "If you want to rise, you must fall; and embrace the struggles." He believes that regardless of whether one chooses hard work or smart work, there will always be obstacles on the path to progress. According to him, the greater the struggle, the easier it becomes to achieve results.
Ashaar believes that struggles are integral parts of life, and feels grateful for the support of his caring family and friends. He views himself as "STUPID"—a Smart, Talented, Unique Person In Demand—emphasising the importance of uniqueness in one's work and how being smart and talented can make you differentiate from others. He shares that in 2014, he faced a life-altering car accident that injured his right hand, which crushed all his dreams and aspirations. Despite this setback, he maintained his willpower and underwent three major surgeries during his one-and-a-half-month hospitalisation in Delhi.
Following the accident, he had to rely on his left hand for tasks, transforming it into his dominant hand. He credits the blessings of his loved ones for surviving the accident with only a hand injury. He expresses gratitude for Arcgate's unwavering support, as they welcomed him back with open arms after his recovery and reinstated him to his previous position. He sees his successful comeback from the setback as a testament to his resilience and determination.
Ashaar says that both fate and Arcgate guided him towards Business Process Outsourcing and that even a hand injury couldn't hold him back from achieving great success.
Coming from a family background rooted in creativity and literature, he has excelled in various creative pursuits like writing, singing, and artistry, along with his academic achievements. Despite his talent, he was unsure of his future path and pursued both Biology and Maths streams in school. Nevertheless, he emerged as one of the top performers in the CBSE board exams in his 12th standard. His artistic talents have been honoured by the Rajasthan Sahitya Academy. He has received several awards from his school and college too.
Observing the rapid evolution of technology, he decided to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Technology. After graduating, he decided to apply his technical knowledge and creative abilities at Arcgate, which was at a growing stage at that time. He has developed a strong bond with the company and is committed to maintaining this connection under all circumstances.
Offering valuable advice to new aspirants, Ashaar emphasises the importance of working in a manner that makes you an influential figure. He suggests adopting a creative approach to work and striving for excellence in everything you do, with the aim of setting an example for others to follow. He also emphasises the importance of leading by example and having empathy for others. He encourages them to be visionary and creative and to leverage technology in their leadership approach.
If given a chance to revisit the past in a time machine and change something, he expresses his belief in destiny and states that he wouldn't change anything. He values his present life and believes that his actions do not alter his destiny. Instead of dwelling on the past, he advises focusing on the present to shape a better future.
Ashaar encourages everyone to become digital ambassadors of India by sharing their talents, views, and thoughts through social media. He urges all citizens to utilise their potential to contribute to the development and progress of the country.
As he concludes, he sings a beautiful old song from the movie "Naya Daur."
