Arvind’s store sells high-quality designer fabrics. He has been working with his father since 1992. They initially went door-to-door to build their customer base. After a few years, they were successfully able to garner loyal customers. Arvind also focused on the no-bargaining principle in his business.

When asked about his COVID-19 experience, Arvind says that owing to the nationwide lockdown, all stores were forced to close. From a financial and business standpoint, he had to deal with numerous difficulties and challenges. However, once the lockdown was lifted, they got back only 40% of the business as compared to before. A lot of their money is still stuck in the market, where people are refusing to pay their dues.

In his free time, Arvind likes to travel with his family. He tries to spend quality time with his family whenever possible, despite having a very hectic schedule.

Arvind thinks that considering the market sentiments and the experience of his father, he tries to adopt as many things as possible to improve his work. He feels very satisfied with his work and how his business is doing now.

Arvind treats his staff members as family. This can be one of the reasons his employees have been working with him for the past 20 years with a lot of dedication and commitment.

Recalling the best times of his life, Arvind says that in his childhood, they were a group of four friends. All four of them used to go to Fatehsagar Lake and had no worries or stress about earning money. It was indeed one of the best times of his life.
