Arun Agarwal is a Print-Media Designer. He started his journey in 1991 as a Book Composer and Magazine Designer. Gradually, his interest in the field grew and he went on to design brochures, letterheads, souvenirs, yearbooks, etc.
Arun belongs to Jaipur. He is a B.Com and LLB graduate. He tried his luck in the civil services entrance exam for a few years, but could not clear the final exams. So he decided to move ahead in his career. At that time, a new trend of computers had come in. He says he learned about computers from a renowned printing press in Jaipur and took training from there.
Recalling his childhood, Arun says that his father died when he was nine years old. But being in a joint family, he did not have to struggle much and grew up with his cousins. Besides, he was very fond of playing cricket and marbles in his childhood.
Sharing his COVID experience, Arun says that he spent a good time with his family and played several games. But due to his addiction to work, gradually he started getting bored at home. His business also came to a complete standstill. Consequently, he suffered a huge loss. He believes that this pandemic has impacted the printing business very badly because of the domination of technology and digitalization.
In his spare time, Arun loves listening to music, especially ghazals. Apart from this, he is also fond of watching movies.
Advising the youth, Arun says that looking at today’s era, you should make a career in the field of electronic media and involve yourself in it because print media is now saturated.
