Soon she started working as an English Announcer at All India Radio, Mumbai. Gradually, she started climbing the ladder of success and entered in the world of Television as an Assistant Director.

Arpita says that the death of her mother proved to be a turning point for her career. She did a Diploma in Counseling and Personality Development form Nrityanjali Institute, Mumbai. She started writing life stories of people along with Journals. She also explored herself through Expressive Arts in different forms and turned into a Counselor and Life Coach.

She says that although having a good job initially, to make her life stable and satisfied, she tried her hand at many jobs in different fields. She faced many challenges to reach her destined field. On a personal front, taking care of her daibetic mother along with her job was quite challenging for her.

When Covid struck, she was initially stuck in Lavasa. But when the restrictions were eased up a little, she went back to her home and worked from there. She started taking online classes. She was quite comfortable working on online mode being friendly with technology. Also, her life coaching and counseling sessions increased during the pandemic because people were suffering a lot mentally.

In her spare time, Arpita likes to write, read, sing, cook, travel, draw and paint and socialize with people.

Arpita advises the youngsters to build and strengthen their communication skills for it being the most important part of our lives. Based on this, you can collaborate with people and create your network to go a long way in life.
