A young entrepreneur, Arpit is expanding his family business with his brilliance. He believes that one must always be young enough to be brave and smart enough to go ahead with what they choose.

Arpit Singhvi is the owner of R. K. Phosphates Private Limited, a manufacturing company of natural minerals and animal feed supplements in Udaipur.

Arpit completed his BBA and MBA from Amity University, Noida. Later, in 2016, he came back to Udaipur and joined his family business. Since then, the company has expanded its business and now supplies goods to more than 26 states and five countries.

Sharing some business tips, Arpit says that rather than convincing your clients to buy your product, you should focus on what they are missing out on if they don't buy from you. He further shares that one should not boast about their product, as the client will not be interested in listening to you bragging about yourself. This philosophy helped Arpit to make a huge difference, ultimately resulting in business expansion and an increase in the number of clients.

Recollecting his childhood memories, Arpit says that he was born into a joint family, and hence communication was always his forte. He likes interacting with new people and suggests everyone be interactive enough, as communication is always the key. The more enthusiastic you are about your product, the more interest clients will show.

Talking about hobbies, Arpit shares that travelling has always given him a lot of exposure. In the past few years, he has been to 15 countries. He prefers staying with the local people there to soak in their culture and learn new things from them. It helped him immensely to make new clients by inculcating those values and learnings into his business. Passionate about driving, Arpit feels that this is what gives him the energy and zeal to live a good life.

Being a leader, Arpit believes that one should not try to do everything alone. Rather, try to impart responsibilities to your employees and make them accountable for their work. This, in turn, motivates your employees and gives you more freedom to work for better things. He also believes that a company grows with its employees, and one should stay dedicated to their work.

Discussing future goals, Arpit aspires to establish dispatch hubs for his company on each continent to facilitate a smooth distribution network across the globe.

Arpit thinks that socialising has a huge positive impact on your business. The more people you meet, the more you can explore various minds and visions. For the same purpose, Arpit has joined several organisations like the Round Table India, Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, JITO, etc., where they meet every ten to fifteen days to socialise and discuss some topics. These discussions give them exposure and help expand their horizons. He believes that interacting with people always gives you better ideas. Socialising is full of learning, believes Arpit.

When asked about his success mantra, Arpit says that one should be brave enough to take things up themself. Being sceptical about things doesn’t work. Arpit also believes that one needs to be smart enough to learn about a new thing first and only then focus on implementing it.
