A Rapper and Recording Artist, Arjun RDK’s forte is Trap and Drill Rap Music. For the past many years, he’s been adding his own element of creativity to these genres of Rap Music to make his songs contemporary and stand out.

Arjun was born in Kerala but later his family shifted to the US and he grew up there. He completed his schooling in the US and India. After completing his initial grades in the US, he studied grades - eighth, ninth, and tenth at a boarding school in India. Then he went back to the US to complete his high school. He did a Diploma in Sound Engineering. In 2013, he moved back to India with the aim to become a full-time recording artist.

Arjun shares that his father liked Rap songs and had a good collection of Rap songs. However, he never liked Rap songs until one of his friends introduced him to Eminem- a globally celebrated Rap singer and he fell in love with Rap songs. He was hardly eleven when he first took to Rap songs and ever since he has been practicing and making Rap songs.

Talking about his struggles, Arjun says that growing up he was always bullied in the US owing to his skin color. Besides, he says that in the US everyone sings Rap songs and to stand out was quite challenging for him.

Talking about his achievements, Arjun says that getting more than three lakh streams on Spotify on his songs is an achievement for him. Besides, having more than one million views on one of his songs on YouTube is also an achievement for him.

Talking about Covid, he says that the pandemic hit him badly on the financial front as all his shows had to be canceled in light of the pandemic. However, during the pandemic, he created his own t-shirt brand and recorded many Rap songs.

To aspiring Rappers, Arjun advises them to listen to all genres of Music as much as they can. Besides, he advises them to always stick to what they believe in whether or not people support them. Furthermore, he advises them to keep practicing as practice makes a man perfect.

In his spare time, Arjun likes to cook, play Basketball and work out in the gym. Besides, he also does YouTubing.

To people, his message is to always follow what their heart says and do what they are interested in doing, without imitating others. Besides, he says that even if things don’t seem to fall into place just keep going and you will get what you deserve.
